coffee?

Here's where I am on the coffee scale.

(hate it)----(it's okay)----(I like it a lot)----(I'm love it, i'm addicted)

I like it enough to be a Starbucks rewards member and get a few Americanos a week along with a couple of Frappucinos. So yes, I like it a lot.

I really enjoy coffee! I drink at least one cup most days, and I've found good recipes for iced coffee/cold brew so I can make them at home. I hope at one point I'll be able to buy one of those little at home espresso machines with the milk wand so I can make espresso drinks at home and won't have to spend money buying them from a coffee shop.

I want one too! I want to make my own Americanos. They're just espresso and water lmao

I like the taste of coffee but I like it triple sugar and triple cream. On top of that, I rarely drink coffee. I don't drink it to give me energy to start the day as I have other ways to do just that.

I don't think I can live without coffee, I drink at least 4 or five cups a day, adding two more cups of tea later. I just feel like my body can't operate without it, almost literally.
I think it's a blessing that you don't like coffee because my large intake of caffeine and sugar daily has definitely destroyed my health.

Coffee is one of my favourite things in the entire world tbh, I'd consider myself on the... middle of the "coffee nerd" sliding scale; I'm not quite at the point where I'm the kind of person who has 12 different coffee brewing gadgets and uses them all, but I definitely invest way more time and money into this drink than I need to.

Been drinking it black since I was 12 or so, and the stronger, earthier, deeper the flavour the better. I think it's a wholly different category of drink if you add stuff to it... I'm not the kind of person who would act like I'm better because I don't do that, but I just... do not like it at all with anything in it. Which I guess is kind of unusual? lol

I used to drink TONS. Probably got it from my dad who drinks like, literally 2 liters a day. But I've been reducing it a lot over the last few years, and when I got diagnosed with ADHD I was told by my psychiatrist that it's common for people with untreated ADHD to subconsciously use it as a form of self-medication because it focuses you and when you have ADHD it actually makes you feel calmer, not more hyperactive. I guess that kinda explains why I can drink coffee in the evening but it never prevents me from sleeping like it seems to do for many people.

Now my routine is usually just to make myself 1 or 2 little 200ml french press cups a day, from beans I really like called "Coffee Masters Super Crema Espresso"; you can find that on Amazon (at least in the UK) if you like really strong, deep, dark roast, but not acidic coffee, like I do. It's intended for making espresso but it works wonders in a press!

I only started drinking coffee when I started working in Hospitality!

That stuff is like the fuel that keeps you going lol. I'd also say I only really drink it at work because the coffee there tastes a lot nicer than regular granular stuff. If you can find a good coffee brand then usually you don't need milk or sugar because it's sweet enough on it's own.

I'm quite impatient though, especially at work when you get a few minutes to yourself here and there, so usually opt for an iced coffee!

Black coffee is a no for me. But if you add... like... any kind of other beverage or syrup in it?? A delicacy. And I do mean anything, out of the top of my head I can remember mixing vanilla, cranberry syrup, lychee syrup, chocolate powder, coke, chocolate milk, strawberry milk, champagne, hell, even water and fruit juice (don't ask) and none tasted bad.

I never used to like coffee either until I went to university and pulled all-nighters to get my essays done, and now I can drink it straight black.

I hate coffee. I have tried to like it and drunk it several times but I just can't bring myself to enjoy the flavor or smell. I don't like hot beverages either, so hot coffee isn't really my type of thing to begin with. But I have tried frappe and it still tastes too much like coffee, despite the excessive amounts of sweet calories... I want to be able to drink coffee but right now it is impossible.

Tea tastes better but I like coffee, especially an iced frappe. Starbucks is my occasional guilty pleasure. Those mcfrappes are nasty though so I feel for you...you didn't deserve that.

I love coffee; it's probably somewhat due to the fact that my grandma would buy 8-year-old me large iced coffees at McDonald's while my mom wasn't looking lol. Since I started college I get coffee at least twice a week. It's usually iced, but if the day is particularly cold I will go for hot. My campus has both a generic cafe and a Starbucks, so there's plenty of options for coffee lovers like me. :p

I love coffee, but not from Starbucks. I always get either a cr?me frap or tea there.

I just made a big cup of coffee haha! I love coffee but I definitely acquired the taste for it over time. I've been drinking a cup (or more) per day since I was in the 10th grade. If I were to recommend something, I'd suggest a mocha or caramel latte from a fancy-schmancy cafe cause it's just a shot of espresso, but the milk+cocoa/caramel in lattes make it less like coffee and more like a dessert :)
