Collectible Teams?

they're like little TBT fandoms for a specific collectible? at least that's how i view it
yeah i was also confused as to why there were so many, like are ppl gonna make one for every single one. idk

I'm a little bothered that it is basically a chat thread on The Marketplace. As you most have stated it is out of control and needs to be moved to another location. If they want a raffle to support their effort start a thread for that.
Another thing is the fact they are attempting to get a group to open up. That's fine. However, now it is a secret society and only a select few can be involved. Reminds me of something else that failed horribly due to ego and the priority to exclude unwanteds.
Clear up The Marketplace, do not allow secret societies and get back to the original plan. That's just my view of what is going on.

I can see as to why you are upset about this ahaha!
Miharu and I have created Team Popsicle a little over a week ago to help other people get popsicle collectibles because they are harder to get now.
The group originally started in Brewster's Cafe because, yes, it was intended for a chat-room like community.
However, Murray moved us to the Marketplace because it had to do with giving away collectibles.
The other groups have gotten a little out of hand, I must admit, but we have never planed for that to happen.
If by "Secret Society" you mean SHS, that is completely irrelevant to the Collectible Teams. We are just kids who have a skype group together.
Team Popsicle's intention for the group is to let anybody in as long as they ask, so it will not be completely exclusive. (haha i know u are talkin about white feather)
We wanted groups so we can get out of the Marketplace, because personally, I believe it is getting super cluttered as well.

Groups will hopefully be restocked soon so this won't be an issue anymore. There's literally no place on this forum for people to commune at due to no groups being available.

Honestly, I kinda like the group idea.
Back on ZB we had a board for groups and a lot of members made animal crossing groups (I remember the red and blue ogre groups, there are probs more but I don't remember). They'd be ran by a few people and they'd organize events for group members, and then hand out AC items as prizes. But then CF started dying, so did TBT and then groups basically never came back. I was kinda hoping they'd come back when NL released coz I had an idea or two for a group myself, but a board never got made so I didn't end up doing it.
Even tho I never really joined any groups I always liked seeing peoples signatures and seeing that they were part of a certain group (coz they often had special group sigs and banners), it just kinda felt like a sense of community or sth idk - it was just kinda nice seeing two completely different members be affiliated by the group in their sig or sth idk how to explain.
Groups only really bother me when they become cliquey and exclusive, but back then they weren't, which was good, so I'm hoping that these current groups don't turn out that way. So yeah I kinda like seeing the old groups back, I just kinda wish they weren't just for collectibles but whatever lol.

All the clubs and teams are in the basement forum now. It really shouldn't be much of an issue to anyone.
