So I apparently totally missed them but for the DS & 3DS there was a painting app called Colors...
They're making a Switch port and it includes a pen to turn your Switch into a drawing tablet!

Here's the Kickstarter with more info: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/colorslive/paint-on-switch/description
I've always wanted to try out a drawing tablet for my art but they're so expensive I've stuck with my mouse for digital art so far, but this looks great!
What do you guys think?

I own the 3DS app and the things people could do with a stylus and a tiny screen was astonishing. I probably won’t be picking this one up, but the tech behind the pen is intriguing.

Omg, I might need this. Not only for pen but just.. drawing sounds amazing.

YES OH MY GOD I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!!!

I've been using Colors 3D to draw for the last three years and it's so great! I just found out about this Kickstarter like a week ago and by then they had already reached their goal so I didn't pledge any money, but I'mon their Discord page and I love all the new stuff they're adding in (especially online multiplayer, basically you can draw with your friends over the internet and it's hella cool). I'm definitely getting it as soon as it's released!!

I have a lot of people ask me how I'm able to draw so well on a 3DS. I think it kinda helps that I have an XL so the screen isn't microscopic but it's definitely a talent! I've been drawing on the DSi/3DS for about 9 years now so I've got some good experience

Aahhh colors3d was one of the first apps I got on my 3DS YEARS ago. I think I was 12 or 13 so... 8 years ago now ;o;; I have so many fond memories from using it!!! It was super fun to draw with and the community was great, I made a lot of friends there that I still talk to on discord.
Nowadays I draw on an iPad but I might get it just for the nostalgia lol. :,)

As someone who isn't much of an artist but would love an easy way to practice, but cannot find a reasonably priced draw - on - screen tablet ... yes. So much yes. This is amazing. I can't wait for this!

This sounds super cool! I looked at it and it looks like there will be the capability to mess around with layers, so I’m sure people will do really cool stuff.

AAAAAA IM SO EXCITED
I used to draw on my 3DS using Pokemon Art Academy, Which was fine but the screens were so tiny.
I do have a cheap art tablet, but I'm still not very good at drawing on my pc sweats
