Come talk about your pets! o:

Those lil guys are so cute :) if you can, keep us updated on them! I'd love to hear more about them when they open their eyes and get hairy and move around haha

I will definitely take weekly update photos and the like! Mama's being so good with them. She likes to move them a lot, but as my person pointed out, she might just move them when she's done feeding that one. So, one time they're in the right corner and like an hour later they'll be in the left one. Right now she's snuggling with them. c: She's so cute!

I'd take a picture but at the moment it's dark and I don't wanna startle her with the flash on my phone.

Aha, be careful or you may end up drowning in hamsters! I bred my rabbits, accidentally getting a second one pregnant and ended up with sooo many babies!! One had four and I've managed to sell two, but I still have the SEVEN my other rabbit had along with the other two! I still have two females I bred last year as well. I have a total of 14 rabbits, only three of which are permanent residents!

So now I have 11 rabbits I need to sell and 13~ rats I need to donate to my local pet store. Never go the route of breeder unless you're ready financially, space and mentally. It takes a lot of time to take care of my animals.

As for chameleon's, I would ADORE one, they are quite adorable! However I know I don't have the time or effort to take care of one. Not to mention where I live they're crazy expensive. I think my local Jack's had one for like 80 dollars??? I'm not sure. I know they had some reptiles in the 150's though so, reptiles are NOT a cheap hobby!!! ;;;;

I am quite familiar with reptiles as I have had many snakes in the past and I have 2 bearded dragons at the moment so I am looking to get another one!! I was looking at geckos but I know that they drop their tails and I think it would freak me out XD I went to the reptile store near my house and there was this chameleon OH MY HE WAS ADORABLE his name was Steve and I loved the way he moved like he was dancing it was hilarious! I want to get a baby one though and the reptile store doesn?t get them in often so I?m not sure whether to wait one or get something else.

The space, time or money doesn?t really bother me as I am a student and I only go to college 3 days a week and work part time so I have the money available, been saving a lot for animals so it?s just about deciding whether to wait or go with something else that is already there and honestly I?m not sure what to do!!

I would say wait to find what you want. o: I know you want it now, but if you impulse buy you may end up with something you're not entirely happy with. I know this all too well, aha. Is there anyway you can get on some sort of calling list for a baby chameleon?? I dunno if that's possible or not, but it's worth a try. c:

That's a very nice schedule you have. o: I'm jealous of it, aha. I work 4 days a week, but I also have a lot of responsibilities out of work so I never really have a free day.

I am going to the reptile shop tomorrow so I will see what they have and ask about maybe even reserving one as soon as they get in! Are there any other pets you would like to get or even some you fantasise about getting and are not able to?

I need to do some research about what exactly a chameleon needs and what I can and can’t feed them! I am quite familiar with bearded dragons however I know they both need different conditions within their enclosures. The only thing that I really know is that I have mist their enclosure by spraying it with water which will make it intimidate the humidity in a rainforest. I don’t know specific things I need so I best get searching if I am serious about getting one!

Yeeees, go get that baby cham-cham! If you do get it, send me a thousand pictures. o:

Oh, I would love to specialize more in caged animals. I love guinea pigs and chinchillas and ferrets, but besides for guinea pigs, they're expensive and take far too much care and time. I also always wanted a parrot but I've since noped out of it. Everyone that owns one says they're like a 3-year-old with a can opener on their face.

While hamsters and gerbils are easy to care for, they don't really offer the companionship I'm looking for. Hammys can be temperamental and gerbils even more so!

What about you? o: What are some other dreamies you'd love to have?

I would absolutely to get huge reptiles like I would LOVE TO GET AN IGUANA!! my uncle had an iguana and it escaped out of the enclosure hahaha!! The neighbours found it in their flower pot next door and it absolutely scared the life out of them hahaha XD I know that they can be quite difficult to handle and if they whip you with their tail it can be very painful!

I would also like to get an albino python or an anaconda I just think they are so fascinating I’m not scared of constrictors I have always been around that sort of animal since I was little! The only reason I am not allowing myself to get one is I have no space for them which is so sad but once I move I will definetly be getting one or even both of these animals!

That's so cool! I love snakes, but I'm honestly terrified of them. Lizards were never really a appeal to me, besides for maybe geckos or some of the more friendly breeds. A turtle would awesome too! One of the tiny squirts that is, aha. My cousin owned an iguana and he loved that thing. I don't remember much of it, I was only like 5 at the time or something but I remember he was a big boy. o:

Constrictor snakes are sooo pretty, their colors are just so different from the ones you find out in nature. I would be terrified to hold one though! They're so heavy and large. ;;;

Please, please, please find a shelter/rescue to donate them to, or people to adopt them out to, instead of selling them/donating them to a pet store. 9 times out of 10, unpurchased rats are just throw out like garbage, or used as feed.

Unfortunately I don't live anywhere that'll take rats in and around here people have wild rats in their house, they don't want pet ones. I would love to find them homes with people who'll keep them as pets but it's just not an option and I'm not able to care for 15 rats.

Unrelated, but I saw this on the index page so all I saw was "Ahaha...oops im drowning" and I was just confused.

AHAHA, yeah, I see that too. I think I'm gonna change the title!

Edit: I went to feed Juney and got a slightly better picture of the babies. c: The flash freaked them out so I'm really glad I didn't get the phone closer to the nest but it's still tiny regardless. ALSO, there's only 10 of them!! o: I must have miscounted and I couldn't be more pleased.

How are the babies?

They're doing really well!! c: I'm down to nine however, I think one got lost in the move to a new cage. ;;;;;

I have two whites, 2 black and whites, 1 really pretty grey and white and the rest are just solid blacks, or a just got white bellies. I should have taken pictures when I checked on them tonight but Juney was going mental without her babies.

Tomorrow (today? it's midnight) I'm going to pick up this super large, spacious cage for the new additions! It's costing me a lot of money though, aha. c':

Omg, CUUUUUUUUUUTE! Your lizards are so adorable! I like how they are poking their heads out of that thing too. So cute. <3

I miss my rats (sugar, Cinnamon, Spice and Paprika)! I had four, two of them died of tumors and the other two got old :(. Currently I have two mice sisters, named Harley and Ivy. They're so hecking cute, but they're getting old...:(. I also have..prepare yourself.. a golden lab named Princess, a black lab pit mix named Lily, a pit bull terrier named Rowdy, 2 betta fish- named Sportacus and Eli, a long haired hamster named Squanchy, and a lop bunny named Bun Jovi. There's 7 cats, Paris, London, Sylar, Greyson, Tux, Earl Grey, and Smudge. They're all such sweeties..except for Sylar, he scratches all the time :'(

Edit: They're not all in the same house! Cats are at my moms side and everything else is with my dad.

I have 1 cat, 8 years old, called Santino (named after the character from The Godfather). We've had him since he was about 8-10 weeks old. I think this is the most recent photo I have of him:

I have two kitties and a hamster!
Rhys is my newest kitty, she just turned one, and she is the sweetest baby in the world 0v0

She likes to walk around the house screaming so I'll talk back to her lol
Celty is my older cat, she's seven, and she just kinda likes to hide until she's ready to get affection

They're both afraid of Cornwallis, my hamster lmao
