Common Misconceptions Explained

Absolutely agree with everything you said! The game gets so much more lively as you progress and the villagers get much expressive.

As someone who does TT, I really like how Ninendo has some things planned for the future to keep the game fresh in the coming months!

Thank you for this thread!

It is a little amusing for me to see people complaining about being bored with New Leaf and clamour for changes only to see them complain about changes in the new game. I really like the slowness with developing your island. It makes it feel like you are really working to develop your island. I also think people are forgetting that this is a completely fresh start with a deserted island and not moving into a little developed town to further develop it.

I can't wait to see how my island develops and how my friends islands develop. It should be really fun to watch.

I noticed that too some time they(as in develops) just can't win and Yes It will be fun to see how islands develop!

I think people are forgetting that the reason why they probably didn't add everything in compared to New Leaf is because they don't want people to TT everything and be done with the game after several weeks or spoil anything, and seeing how people frequently datamine the game, it would kinda justify their reasons for doing so. Heck, I've already seen people already "finish" the game or reach the credits 2 days after starting the game.

I feel like most of the people who are disappointed with the game had faster gameplay in mind and not the sluggish pace it currently has.

Great thread :]

For some reason I'm finding myself super protective of this game. The very few people who aren't having an easy time and are posting bad reviews stress me out kinda, lol. Usually, the things they complain about are just incorrect and stated in this thread. I hope everyone gets to see this! And for those who genuinely don't enjoy animal crossing... I hope they just fade off and find something better to do. It seems like animal crossing is trending like it never has before.
