So I am learning how to make a competitive sweeper with a Blissey that I am currently training. There is a Competition coming up really soon and I want to try my luck creating a good sweeper. I never done this before so can anyone give me advice on what I can do to be the very best that no one ever was?

I don't really think Blissey is meant to be a sweeper. Sweepers are supposed to take things out in 1 (or 2 turns if they want to boost stats first) and normally have decent speed in order to strike first. I don't see Blissey doing any of that with just 75 spatk and 55 speed.

Blissey is the worst Pokemon you can possibly use as a sweeper. Blissey and chancy are supposed to be defensive walls that can stall out your opponents, moves like close combat don't usually kill blissey, and blissey also has the move "soft boiled" that works like a moomoo milk.

If you want a sweeper, try a duo I use: Sword dance smeagol with baton pass paired with a mega absol c:

i never battle competitively because its just too complicated and tedious for me. like, you have to spend so much time breeding a perfect IV pokemon and then ev train it which takes a lot of goddamn time and then you have to learn what pokemon is best at and so many stuff to memorize and learn. competitive battling is just not for me.

Oh yeah, and a tool I often use for creating teams is Pokemon showdown since you can build a team in less then half an hour. Look it up c:

Let me tell you what a sweeper pokemon is. A sweeping pokemon means a pokemon raising its attack and speed, or have high speed to maximum level, and used preferred moves to sweep, and the pokemon must not faint.

Here is an example of a sweeper pokemon, directly from Smogon:

Serperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power Fire
- Glare

Hope I helped out. Blissey is more of a supporter. And don't use Blissey at all, use Chansey instead while holding an eviolite.
