Confused About Blogs - Please Help?

Whenever I delete a Blog post, they are still viewable on my Blog Page.
Is there any way to stop them from being viewable? I don't really want them there.

They are "soft deleted". Only you and other Staff can see them. To other users, they do not exist. This is for security reasons such as if someone made a malicious blog post and tried to cover their tracks later, we would still be able to see.
