Is there any way for me to transfer data from old copy to new copy then?It all depends on luck. :L 70% of it, 30 % of it not.

So, physical copies are less likely to corrupt randomly? I've had my town for over a year and corruption is my biggest fear. Especially since I lost all 20,000 (heh...) screenshots when my computer broke.I would have a breakdown if I turned on my game to find Seasons gone.
I'm REALLY sorry you lost your game. It's a huge bummer!
I hope you enjoy your new town even more. <3
Do you think my digital copy will corrupt again?

Sorry this has happened to you.
May I ask what SD card do you use? Is it the one that comes with the 3DS.
Do you have a digital (eShop) or cartridge?Yes it is, because Animal Crossing New Leaf is the only game that I use with the SD card, and I didn't see a point in getting a new one just for one game. If the SD card is the cause for this, I will definitely upgrade, so other games won't have problems too.

I have a digital, but definitely upgrading to cartridge today. Don't want to risk having to start over again.
There is something you can try so hold the phone!
I saw it on Youtube. If you reboot the system there is a chance it will be okay.
Okay, I think it's somewhat reasonable to blame it on the SD card then.
Good luck with your new town, people over at Re-Tail are more than willing to give you a million or two bells and a few hybrids to get you back on track. There's also cycling threads/VTP for your dream villagers.
