It’s arts and crafts night! Almost every weekend, my friend Betsy and I get together to do some crafts, her cat Hana is always present. So I’ve made a re-enactment of that featuring Peachbutt (Apeach) as Betsy and Jiji as Hana (her cat).

We’re colouring villager pics, we’re painting our favourite moments in Ghibli films and everyone is having a BLAST.

I am water colouring the boy who swallowed a star, Totoro’s are colouring their favourite villager Audie, Betsy is doing some traditional Korean hanji crafting, Minun and Plusle are giving Hana a masterclass on origami, Kaonashi is knitting a pearly shell mobile from all the shells he found on the beach, *clicking noises* is painting some bath house tokens as a gift for Kaonashi, the Little Prince and the fox are making paper-craft roses and we have 3 voyeurs in UnamedGyroid and my two fish Tui and La!

For some reason my brain decided to do this challenge the harder way ksfkd, but drawing with friends irl was something I used to do a lot! It's been a hot minute since I've drawn traditionally so I thought I'd give it a shot after months of not touching a pencil or a sketchbook. All drawings here were drawn by me, specifically for this challenge. Featuring some Nintendo characters, as well as four non-Nintendo characters from four games I've started playing recently, so kudos to anyone who recognizes them!

On another note, those two have almost filled up their page while I'm still working on my first sketch I'll probably have to give them a stray piece of paper before we can flip to the next page. Maybe drawing in the same sketchbook wasn't the best idea...
