I can't remember what the word is... That one when people say their own art is bad, but is really posting that so people would compliment it... That's what I think you're doing.

Oh goodness no. Apple is just awful. Worse without a stylus. Lol but this isn't too bad. If you actually used a stylus on a competent program, this would probably be very nice.

this is how I see it, to me personally it doesn't matter if you're a good artist or not as long as you enjoy doing it. because if you enjoy something like doing art you'll eventually want to learn more about it and improve (which you will with dedication). however you'll never improve if you look down on yourself, if you looked at you creation and hated it then keep it, look closely at the flaws in it and try to fix them which is something that can only be done by doing sketches before the real lining. I suggest that you start traditionally with a paper to draw or use a drawing tablet if you're good at using art softwares like photoshop. you can use deviantart to look for drawing tutorials there are ones for everything art related. drawing with a mouse is never a good idea I tell ya ^^;

I have a drawing tablet but I was never good at it. I mostly draw on paper then scan and work on it digitally, the pic I made for the contest was made that way but since I work best using old ass programs I made it with ms paint and jasc paint shop pro 7, then resized for acceptable results~ ^^

iPad art can be decent when you actually try, but when you go into it thinking "hahaha this is going to be terrible!! I can't wait to draw something so I can tell people on the Internet how bad it is!!", it's going to be bad

I was going to leave it alone, actually, but I don't want young new artists to be discouraged just because they haven't cultivated skill yet and people on the internet are mean to them.
Your Tangy is cute. But she needs an outline. Her ears should match up to her head and her head to her body. Once you do that and post again, we can start working on the details. Or you can work out the details yourself. Either way.

I just doodled it up for you, I'm using a iPad Mini and this is my art. I know my art is terrible too but I have only been drawing for 3 days now. You just have to practise, your art can be better, I'm trying to get my art better too xD

The eyes are adorable! However, I think the top of the head needs to be rounder and everything needs a bit more volume and mass. She needs a little tail and I think the legs should be longer than the arms. The middle line on the mouth could be shorter, like in the signature. Outlines could help with that, if possible.
Hehe, I was pretty bad on an iPad when I first started. I didn't have a stylus so that contributed and such. Just remember, practice make perfect! If you could, try sketching traditionally first and work your way to perfection. Use a search engine to look up tips or observe that of professional artists to see what they're doing and try to have that contribute to your own drawing style. It's what I did and it really helped! （っ＾▿＾）っ
