love to hear thoughts on it!
and if an auction would be a good option for now?

UPDATE 3/7/15
I just randomly drew a small Chibi girl holding a dango lol
This was a quick draw >.<

Any thoughts? :3

UPDATE 3/6/15

Any thoughts?
Note: ik the pose is awkward I was just taking what I need to improve one step at a time and I focused slot on the head and face ^.^
Also let me know if the coloring is okay. I do realize my style comes out a lot cartoon-y and it just happens I don't even try it just happens LOL

i'd love if you can tell me how it's going

i also been playing around small chibi styles
i was using pencil tool and sketched these:
fEVwGzW.png

they were quick and not colored perfectly at all
but i'd love a critique for them too :3

thanks you guys!

please critique (constructive) or tell me any thoughts bout them thanks!!!

The eyes and the crooked smiles on the tall ones really irk me. The hair is a bit wonky as well. The small chibi on the right looks okay. The other one...not so much.

I am no art critique but I will try my best. Well the bigger chibis are kind of cute but the eyes look way too close, it is just my opinion but most people do not put lips on chibis, the face looks a bit off on them, the one side looks bigger and curved out more than the other, with a few of them the hair looks a bit off too, there you go may post more later hope it helps

The small chibis are sooooooo cute!!!!! :3

thanks! :3

I like your small chibis! o w o very cute!

I hope I'm not being too harsh, but here's what I think you can improve on: ^_^

I think what makes them look so cute is the soft lineart and colors. The colors and lineart for your tall chibis are pretty bold/overly saturated colors. In my opinion, pastel colors would suit your style more (unless you were going for bold colors). :3 The eyes and mouths on the tall chibis need some work. When you make one eye, just copy it, paste it, and flip it so you have two similar eyes. It helps a lot! For example, on your first tall chibi, the left eye is much smaller and thinner than the right eye. You can easily make both eyes the same size by copying, pasting, and flipping. The mouth could also be centered a bit and the arms could be longer and less tiny. Also, try making the face a bit more like a circle? The faces (chin area, mostly) are pretty deformed. On the third chibi, the face could've been smaller and rounder by the right ear. There's blank skin there that looks slightly awkward. Do you use guidelines? Guidelines are really helpful for placing everything in the correct spot and getting anatomy correct! You can definitely work on adding more volume to hair. The first small chibi has strange hair that hangs over like a wave? Try making it look more natural?

Again, I really hope I wasn't too harsh! >~< You're a great artist; just keep trying! c:

You did pretty well on your small chibis! Explaining why guidelines are so helpful! You should definitely use guidelines more often (especially on big pieces)! Your art is awesome and I know you can get better! ^_^

and omg, I looove your panda signature <33 You did really well on it ^v^

Your small chibi style is perfection!

The tall chibi's are awesome but they are a bit awkward due to proportions. You should prob use real life references + imagination for these. Just bc it seems like you are really great at concept, have wonderful technique in general, BUT you are also trying to move toward a more realistic style. They are some basic rules to follow regarding anatomy and facial features. You prob can just look up some quickie deviant art tutorials and you'll be good to go. For example, like others have mentions eyes should be parallel. Also I think you need to understand what foreshortening is too I think (which is a basic life drawing thing). Look this up bc I have a feeling you're trying to do something similar. But ya you have some skills! I'm sure you can charge the going rate for the chibis on here like 100- 200 tbt I think. Still not good w/ tbt prices though and what people are willing to pay.

edit: eyes are so important. people/ are like psychologically wired to respond to eyes so if they are just awkward it doesn't matter how cute you make the clothes or anything else. Unless you're going for a crazy abstract expressionist look those eyes have got to match and be the same size no matter what.

this is kinda long excuse me ;;
I think they're really nice! The only glaring flaw I can pick out is the alignment of their features;
the first is almost perfect in terms of position on their face, but the eyes are a tad bit unevenly placed.

(hope this is okay ;_; ) but here this might be helpful; drawing out these lines really helps when figuring out how to draw the face:
PiYzbQf.png
(they're a bit off and i'm not perfect but you kinda get the idea i'm going for! just mapping it out first helps a ton)

the hair shading is a bit odd; it looks like the saturation was lowered except on the highlights; try using the highlighted colors for the base colors and instead use white/the color of your light source for them instead?
the lighter, more pastel-y colors look like they would fit nicer, especially on the pink hair.

the one on the right's arm looks a teeny bit awkward but other than that you got their bodies down really well!!
(i absolutely adore the costume of the left one omg)

also while it doesn't look bad and was maybe intentional maybe try loosening up the guy in the middle's pose? everyone else is so casual and loose but he's standing all straight and tall.

the small chibis look great from what i can see! just work on the alignment of their features like i said before. was a general base/template used on these? that's awesome and okay to do but just gotta keep everything else in mind and aligned. (im coining that phrase)

overall they're really nice! you did an awesome job with their outfits especially, with plenty of practice you'll hit all the right marks :D

uhhh, the hair is stiff and her ponytail is just sitting in the air?
the eye design should be fixed, they're too big and too close together
the arms are weird and the stomachs are way too small for her legs
the knees look really creepy.
And, the hands are too small/weird position

the small ones are very cute <3
for the tall ones, body and clothes are definitely your strong point! but like others have said, you should work on facial features proportioning, and how the hair sits :)

oh, and for a price?? 5-10 tbt ; v ;;
amd ,aybe like, 2-5 DA points

I'm dead you are so talented!

thanks soooo much for taking time to do that i really appreciate it!
it helps alot, i see~
yeah i must practice more on anatomy and alignment

thanks for the critique and encouragement!

Faces are off of proportion quite a bit, I'd really recommend working on the faces.

thanks will work on em!
