custom user title

i sometimes see users with their custom title in a different font color. how do they do that exactly? do they need a certain amount of posts or?? i can't seem to do it myself as there is no room for html and what not.

Yup. I actually have no Idea why I chose gray. Still thinking of switching back to my Splatoon one and making it.. *Suddenly realizes Callie and Marie have different colors*
