One neighbor is a jerk who yells profanities and insults everyone, except when he thinks people are watching. His wife, his family, random people on the phone - no one is above getting abused by him. I really hope he meets an early grave.

The other neighbor used to be nice, but stopped when my father moved out. I guess they only liked him.
Sorry that you have to deal with that. Neighbors like that are the worst. I have a stalker neighbor who is always watching and I have no idea what set him off. But he records me and my home saying how he wants to get me in trouble with the law/county in some way. It's just like one day he decided I was going to be their target. I'll be out in my gardens working and enjoying myself and then realize in the corner of my eye oh there's loser watching me again. I can't even fathom how he has a wife. Poor lady must be miserable.

I do when their friends dog gets out and they put her in their backyard because she barks incessantly at everything all night and their backyard is right by the window in my bedroom so that makes it very hard to sleep.

(Not trying to be mean about dogs because I have two who do bark occasionally of course but when you’re trying to sleep and it is constant, it can be rather annoying)

i put occasionally since it’s mostly due to noise late at night, especially when the next-door neighbors have parties until 2-3am and still have the music blaring. my room is right next to (separated by the fence) one of the guys (i believe their adult son) who stays up late yelling as he plays his video games. my parents have also caught him throwing trash over the fence and into our yard and my dad yelled at him once. according to my mom she’s found chocolate wrappers along the fence on their side and since we have dogs that was really concerning, but that was a couple years back, but still annoying and just disgusting. i think the rest of the family is fine. most of my neighbors are fine.

we don’t really interact with the neighbors but there’s a woman across the street who’s lived in the neighborhood the longest and has been super friendly to us since we moved in 10+ years ago. my mom catches up with her every once in a while.

Yes, there's one woman in particular that I despise.
She came to my house in the middle of a windstorm to complain about the leaves falling off of a tree in my yard that we're getting into her mother's lawn. Then she left a note on my trash can at the curb saying not to leave it out all week ( it was Sunday, my garbage day is Friday 🙄 ) and signed it "the neighborhood" as if she speaks for everyone on the street. She's always staring at my house as she walks down the road looking for something to complain about. I stare back at her and mean mug everytime I see her. She also harasses my roommate not to park on the side of the road even though it's on my property and a non issue. I do not like that woman. I don't know if it's her real name, but I've taken to calling her Kathy, she seems like a Kathy to me. (No offense to Kathy's that aren't annoying lol)

Oh and there's another guy that lets their dog run around the neighborhood unsupervised, and I'm pretty sure it stole my dog's ball from our yard (we don't have a fence) the dog also likes to run up to my back door and it distresses my dog. So screw that guy too, I hope his dog doesn't get hit by a car.

Neighbors are calmer now, it's getting cold so I see them less. Neighbor no.1 cooked something this weekend that smelt so good! I don't know what it was but I bet it was really spicy and yummy. I'm still not used to have neighbors that close, there is no fence or trees between us, so when I'm looking through the windows, I see them on their patio and they see me in my room too.

At the moment I don’t have any neighbors that I would consider annoying, just loud. Then again, I do live in a cul-de-sac so we are all cramped together. It’s kind of expected to hear noises.

When I used to live closer to the city, I had neighbours that were annoying enough to get our friendlier neighbours to move out😭

They weren't doing anything illegal, just abnormal loud and kind of everywhere. Doesn't help that both friendly neighbours had their own situations going on (one of them was raising a baby), so this was more of an incentive for them to move.

Oh I have another neighbor that's annoying I just remembered, this guy sits in his driveway and revs his motorcycle for hours, I have no idea why, you'd think he's working on repairs or something but I've watched him for a while and he really just sits there doing it for no discernable reason. Super loud and annoying.

Nope. We all pretty much keep to ourselves in our neighborhood, which I appreciate because I’m an introvert.

no, luckily. our neighbours are a family and i think their kids go to my old high school, and a very nice older lady. there's also my dad's friend daughter who has a large dog that instantly begins growling and barking incredibly loud once he hears the slightest sound outside. freaks me out a little but 100% a good way to ward off bad folks!

sometimes i feel like the bad neighbor. my parents have a tendency to take the television volume up and i have to be the one to tell them to turn it down. it doesn't seem to bother our neighbours but i don't want to be annoying to them, they seem very nice.

Alot of my neighbours tend to just keep to themselves, like I don't even know who lives on my street.
We did have one neighbour who just caused chaos, moaning about weeds growing from our side, and its going onto hers, so my mum was nice enough to try and remove it on her end as well, as best as she could due to her back; neighbour came out and excused my mum of trying to cut their wires.
So my mum just left it to grow.

We live in a housing assocation, and the neighbour lied and said we were smoking drugs and she could see it from her side; which she can't even see or had no proof which the housing woman who came over had A LOt to say to her.
Her family and her eventually moved away, my mum is so happy. I never even saw her lol.

currently no, thank god. at home my neighbours are fine really, they just had quite a yappy dog. at my current uni house i haven't really seen our neighbours but that also means i haven't heard them which is a nice break. last year we had some fairly loud neighbours on one side and then builders on the other so although they weren't technically neighbours, they were there what felt like all day every day and they were *so* loud. the year before that we had some crazy neighbours too, which is a whole story in and of itself but basically they didn't appreciate any noise above two people having a quiet conversation

Nope! I have lovely neighbours. We all stay isolated from each other quite well, thank you very much.

But when we do talk to them, they're all really sweet. We usually give each other little things around Christmas, & we can count on each other to look after the others house if something big comes up.

Summer is back so are the annoying neighbors. Why do they have to yell all the time? One of them put his stuff (garage poles, etc) in our backyard???!!! Another emptied his trash can on our front yard ??!!! Just saw another breaking and stealing a branch from another neighbor's tree. Those people have no manners. They are all new in the neighborhood too.

Not annoying per se, but just creepy. And not the cool kind of creepy either; the unsettling kind of creepy where you feel the impulse to stay at least 4m away from them at all times.
A few months ago this guy moved in to the apartment next to the one me and my mom live. We don't really interact too much, but one of the only times he did, he had a sort of off-putting feel to him and he kept giving sort of backhanded compliments. He also stares directly into the apartment (the front door is made of glass) whenever he passes by, which is for obvious reasons weird.

For a more properly "annoying" neighbour, back around the time I joined TBT and was living in New York, this we had this weird old lady who lived above us. She always shouted at us from her apartment when we were leaving for school. Much as I appreciate the sentiment, Sandra, it gets irritating fast. She also had this weird thing where she just... threw bread on the roof to feed the wildlife? Needless to say we wound up getting a few problems with roaches and rats when we lived in that complex, and I think we can all guess why that was. Another weird thing about her was that she was kind of racist too; she seemingly used our neighbours as a scapegoat for things like the parking lot being dirty (for reference, there was a Latino family living in the apartment building next to ours, and both buildings shared a parking lot), which just kinda sits wrong with me.

That's scary....
I have had some weird neighbors, really weird ones, the kind to run naked around the house, sometimes on their motocycle, and partying on the roof, and even some thieves, but none looked that creepy.

Most of my neighbors are fine, but the neighbors in the apartment right next to me smoke that nasty smelly stuff and it makes the lobby smell horrid (but thankfully it doesn't seep into my apartment much). The neighbor that lives beneath me plays music so loud it shakes my floor typically late at night on weekend nights. =/
