Commissioning dark dirt path stone pattern thing?

this may be a little complicated but i'm willing to pay nmt/igb/wishlist items for variations of a pattern i have in mind! o:

my town is going to be more a foresty town and i'm mainly using dirt paths.

but im looking for an outline & something that can go in dark dirth path as well as a stone path tht looks good on it's own and works alongside dark dirt path.

i'm kind of wanting it to be an aged look where the stones look like they have been there a while and are somewhat engraved into the dirt annnddddd... that's all i got so far

I can try to give this a shot. I was going to make a dirty cobblestone for my island.

I dunno if I can achieve this but I'll post progress shots. This could be a tedious process since I'll be testing it on the dirt path, so I can't really give a definite timeline.

What're we thinking?

I'm thinking the stones need to be bigger, packed a bit tighter together but one could be wiggled loose (hypothetically).

Colors, I was leaning for muddled warm tones. I want to make the stones a bit multi-colored but that limited palette might be a toughie (we'll see).

Let me know your thoughts.

i also agree that it could be a little more compacted together, but i'm also leaning towards a more multi-colored cobble stone! i was also feeling maybe more of a rock/stone feel, i also think the stones could have a bit of variety in shape (like you said, one that's been wiggled a bit loose) and not entirely too similar.

also i feel like something could be in between some of the cobble stone, just like a small detail but idk what. o:

those are my thoughts so far, but overall it's cute right now! thank you so much for doing this, is there any form of payment you're looking for ;-;

i actually really like the horizontal so i don't believe a vertical is needed!
i also love love love the moss in between! i think i like the darkest grey w moss, but i really like the blue as it's hard to choose!

Hey sorry for the radio silence. I had to "learn" how to make borders, lol. Anyways, this is what I got:

I don't know if you want the border to follow the shape of the original cobblestone path or be more uniform. Like bricks.

I applied a filter to this image so you can see more details.

Also to clarify, you want borders in all directions, right?

and yes i did want borders in all directions, thank you for remembering!

I did this too because I'm insane:

Bad news, I don't have enough room to fit in the curves. I'm being a little selfish because I want to reserve any open spots for future patterns. If I do end up having space, I can always come back.

I'll def upload these later today after a good ol' power nap.

I uploaded all the designs, so you can find them under my creator code.

The names might be a little weird only because I made these real late at night with the lovely 3AM music.
Some patterns with have letters attached and to make sense:

T = top
B = bottom
L = left
R = right
C = corner
C1.5 etc = half corner
H and W mean nothing and is the result of lack of sleep.
