I look at the creature who grabbed me. It is a large octopus/squidlike creature. The kraken... I think to myself. I try to break free, but the kraken has an iron grip.
I swim after Raphael, but I can hardly see anything. "James, light spell!" I call to him. "On it!" I call back and send a ball of light into the water, making everything a lot more visible.
Turning to James, I can see clearly and was caught by surprise when I saw a tentacle grab him from behind.
Without even thinking, I swim after him as fast as I possibly can, avoiding more tentacles. As I swim, I look at what the tentacle belongs to - a Kraken. It's huge, and I can't decide whether it looks more like a squid or an octopus. I look behind, and see that the others are getting grabbed too.
The kraken nears the group, and I am about to bite the tentacle to set myself free, but...I have an idea. "Grab on to a tentacle!" I order. "Trust me!"
"James!" I fly through the water at a super fast speed and reach James who was trapped inside a tentacle. "Alex," the tentacle squishes my chest causing my to lose my breath. "H...help!" At Raphael's order, I grab onto the tentacle.
"Weeeeee!" I let out a childish squeal as we fly up the water. "Are you enjoying this?"
"Hell yeah! Aren't you?" "Yeah, my bones are being crushed by the weight of this tentacle, I'm having a great time!" I call to her sarcastically as we zoom upwards.
We eventually reach the surface (who knew there was one at all) and the kraken dives back down. We're in the middle of a large pool, with clear blue water as blue as the sky. Palm trees surround the pool party, with greek-style pavilions and a large manor overlooking the pool.
When the kraken reached the surface, it had flicked some of the tentacles upwards slightly. I was holding onto it with one arm so my other hand could hold my staff, so I slip off and the tentacle sends me flying up, before the kraken dives back down underwater. "AAAAAH!" I cry, falling back to the water, and hitting it with quite a lot of force.
After being suspended in the air for a few seconds, I notice our surroundings. Woah, it's beautiful. Landing back in the water, I feel a relief and can breathe again.
