Oh happy day~ The snow has melted and the grass is green! Everything looks so much better in the spring and I'm just so happy that it's finally green again. I had forgotten what a lovely feeling it is. I love everything about the spring -- the Plaza tree regaining its leaves, getting to pull out my umbrellas for those gentle rain showers, the general brightness of everything. Ah. ♥
I will miss winter just a little bit. I liked the sound of the snow crunching under my feet as I walked, and I got a little joy out of building a new snowman every day. Fortunately I managed to complete the Ice series from Snowmam, get all four items from little Snowtyke, and collect half of the items from Snowman and Snowboy. I can still look forward to completing their series next winter. But now I will giddily watch my little snow friends melt away into obscurity. :')

Walking out of my house and noticing the green grass was a pleasant surprise. I honestly hadn't expected it to change so early, but nonetheless I am not complaining. I donned my springiest outfit, grabbed an umbrella, and proceeded on with my day. I figured today is the best time to undo my Keep Storrs Beautiful ordinance and start growing some weeds... *cringe* I actually want to be able to participate in Weeding Day this year. Watering all of my flowers every day is going to be such a pain though and I dread it. But I suppose I can use the opportunity to make myself some Golden Roses.
I managed to trade for a couple Blue Roses yesterday.
I'd been trying to grow them forever and got tired of waiting, so now I can breed my own from these. After I get enough I'll have to find some good places for them.
I feel like I should try to do something special for spring this year. If you're doing anything to ring in the new season, tell me what and maybe I'll get some ideas. ^^
