Another lovely rainy day today. My favorite raincoat finally gets some use. After I'd done my duties, I relaxed on this bench with a coffee.

Before I could relax, though, I had my walk to take and jobs to do. Not long after I left my house, Patty ran over to me and told me she's moving! Excellent start to the day. I do really like the position of her house, but I'm all too willing to let her go. Rolf was in town camping today, too, and I was very tempted to ask him to move in. But once Patty is gone, I'm going to get me another wolf.
Shortly after, I ran into Buck. He asked me to return something to Wart Jr. for him since he was too afraid to, and fortunately we were standing right in Wart Jr.'s yard. After that quick errand, Mitzi was right outside and I went to see what she had to say. She said that just the other day Buck had asked her to deliver a present to Lolly for him. What's with Buck getting other people to do his bidding? I'm glad she didn't say anything about falling in a hole earlier; I barely caught her out of the corner of my eye and quickly ran in the opposite direction so as not to embarrass her. So apparently she didn't notice.
I went by Nook's today to get my new HHA score, since I hadn't requested it since I took out my Balloon Room and completed the Princess series. My score didn't go down as much as I had anticipated, as it's still over 200,000 points. I've had the option to participate in the exterior theme challenges ever since I fully expanded my house and paid off the final loan, but I never really had any interest in trying it. Today I asked about it, and Lyle mentioned that it's possible to receive even bigger better prizes with a score of over 300,000, so of course I'm in. I checked up on the themes of the furniture I already have in my house, and four out of the seven series that I have fit in the Fairy Tale category so that's what I picked. The Ice series fits under Fairy Tale, so I'm going to switch my basement with my Harvest/Polka Dot room for the time being, since they're both Trendy-themed and basements aren't graded.
I also went back to work at the Roost today. I really, really enjoy this. It's so much fun. I didn't use my guide to know how each person likes their coffee this time, because I actually want to try taking notes and learning their tastes.
Lolly came in first, and she asked for Mocha beans. I guessed at lots of milk and two spoonfuls of sugar, and she said it was a little off.
Buck was next, and he too asked for Mocha beans. I guessed a little bit of milk and one spoonful of sugar, and he said it was absolutely perfect. Naturally. I only know my best friend so well, don'tcha know.
Patty came in third, and she requested two spoonfuls of sugar. I assumed that she might like Kilimanjaro beans and a regular amount of milk, and I was right on again.
Then last was Isabelle. She requested a lot of milk, and I gave her blend beans and three spoonfuls of sugar. She said it wasn't quite right, so I'll have to guess some other options for her next time.
Brewster gave me Superb Coffee Beans again, which I'll probably sell, along with a coffeemaker. I'll probably keep that around in case I'd like to display it sometime.
