Another day, another blog! My morning started off as usual, except this time I had trouble picking out an outfit. I guess that means I need to get started on reorganizing my closet. I decided on my Vegetarian Shirt, since I hadn't worn it in a while. After that, I embarked on my obligatory inspection of town. I stopped in on the visiting camper and found out that it was Kiki. And she's adorable. If I had an open spot, I'd definitely try to get her to move in.
Then, making my way by the bulletin board, I noticed the little yellow birdie and stopped to see what had been posted. I had completely neglected what day it was, so thankfully this got my attention. It's Felicity's birthday! Fortunately I had her present all wrapped and ready, so I could stop by as soon as I finished my patrol. There was also a new post about Zipper T. Bunny's visit to Storrs. Not sure what all the fuss is about, but I suppose I'll see next Sunday.
Fang was in his house today, so I could finally have a word with him. He told me that his favorite saying is "Mess with the wolf, you get the fangs." How fitting. I assume this is important information that I will have to remember for April Fool's Day.
My bamboo stalks in the Zen park had reproduced some shoots today so instead of selling them, I thought I might try planting some along the top of the path I routed over to Fang's yesterday. After they grow, I can chop them down and see how that looks for a different kind of hedge.
My other friends that were out and about didn't have much of interest to say today, so I could go on and sell my daily finds. I had an ore rock yesterday that was 75% Sapphires, so I had the sudden idea that hey, maybe I can refurbish my Blue furniture with them and it might look even better in my Princess Room. Thus I went over to Cyrus to pick up my newly refurbished Blue Cabinet. I took it home to put in my upstairs, but it didn't really match at all. Oh well, it had been a nice idea. So I grabbed the other Sapphires on my way out and took them over to sell at Re-Tail after I had Cyrus restore my cabinet to Light Blue.
With all of my work done, I could stop by to wish Felicity a happy birthday. Buck was already there, so I knew the party would be a good party. I gave her the present I had wrapped and she was very happy with it.

So happy that she put it on right away!

She later went on to declare that every March 30th should hereby be known as Felicity Day. I see no better thing to call it, so it shall be.
After staying a while and partying with my friends, I saw my way out and went to work at the Roost. Wart Jr. was my first customer, and I knew I had served him correctly the last time and consulted my records to recall what he likes. Blue Mountain, regular amount of milk, and two sugars.
Whitney was second, and I pretty much have her coffee memorized. Mocha, little milk, one sugar.
Wolfgang was third, and I was pleasantly surprised to see him. I'd love to have him in town, but I think three cranky wolves is a couple cranky wolves too many. Maybe sometime down the road, if I decide that Fang has had a good stay. Anyway, Wolfgang requested lots of milk, and that also meant three sugars. I guessed a Kilimanjaro coffee, which apparently was not his favorite.
Kapp'n was last, and I've had him so many times already that I figured I should get him right today. And so I did. I remembered him telling me that he believes in no other coffee besides Blue Mountain, and gave him a regular amount of milk and no sugar.
Brewster didn't give me anything special today, so I should hopefully be due a present tomorrow.
Then I went to the bank, and withdrew what I thought should be enough for the cost of Lily's east wing expansion, plus the loan for the addition of a back room. I paid off the east wing and went on to order the new room.
And I had two new letters from the HHA. Evidently, putting the remainder of my Mush series in the west wing yesterday upped my score enough to surpass both the 70,000 and 90,000 point marks in one day. Can't complain about that! I got the Gold HHA Plaque that I shall henceforth put in place of the Silver Plaque in the trophy room of the Basketball Development Center.
I moved my bonfire and the surrounding creatures to the middle of the new east wing and I believe the Caucus Race room is at its proper size. I just need to get a couple of Crab Clocks to add to the circle, and some kind of music player to turn on a catchy tune. The first one that comes to mind is one that looks like a giant shell...I thought it might have been part of the Mermaid set, but apparently not. Actually, come to think of it, I think it might be the Sweets Player.
Aside from Lily's house, I feel like my town needs some more Wonderland vibes. I plan on building a face board outside of the castle with either the White Rabbit or King of Hearts. Perhaps I should build another somewhere by the campsite with the Cheshire Cat, and plant some trees around the area to make it seem woodsy. I'll mull it over for a while.
That's about all I have to report for today. I'll be back with more tomorrow. And one last special happy-birthday to my fabulous feline, Felicity! <3
