Hello, everybody! I bring you great news from Storrs! Last night, I thought I'd sit by my tree and see how much progress I'd made toward my #1 goal of Train Station Renovation. To my surprise, I was only one visitor away! Just then, my friend Andrew came online, and he agreed to be my 100th visitor. I was glad that it could be someone who has contributed so much toward my ultimate goal in the first place. So even though he isn't on tbt, I dedicate this post to him!

I wished I'd had a party popper or confetti of some sort, but I figured there would be enough of that at the unveiling ceremony. I was finally going to get my Zen Station! :'D

Eek. Eek indeed.
So today I shot right out of bed, put on one of my new t-shirts, and opened the door to a bright and beautiful day. I had some mail, the first being from Gulliver. He sent me a windmill figurine from The Netherlands and I stashed it in my pockets to put in my museum room later. Second was a letter from Lolly, thanking me for having her over yesterday. She included a Classic Buffet, which I did not have in my catalog. Third was from Buck, declaring today National Friendly Rival Day and challenging me to a thumb war, saying "To celebrate, we'll hold hands and then wage a thumb war." After his proposal yesterday, I think he might just be trying to get me to hold hands with him. *blush* I'm on to you, Buck...
Starting off, I noticed Whitney was at home nextdoor so I stopped in to see how she was feeling. She told me that she needed to start eating healthier, instead of having so much creme caramel, and asked me to go out and get her a fruit. I took her a perfect pear and she gave me a female mask.
I took off on my walk after that, and Wart Jr. was the first to come running up to me. He told me that he thought of a new nickname for me that turned out to be "braniac", which wasn't so bad, but I declined and suggested "Bethers" because that's the first thing that came to mind. I'll probably regret it later. But Missy seems to be catching on, as both Felicity and Lolly call me that now, and that's actually okay.
I stopped by the bulletin board to bask in the glow of the beautiful post thanking everyone (namely, me) for their generosity in donating toward the train station renovation. Right beside it, I saw it for the first time. It's just as glorious as I dreamed it would be! I hurried through the rest of my patrol so I could go see Isabelle for the celebration.

I was very pleased with how many people showed up, since this was an incredibly momentous occasion in town history! Also, this was the first time that I noticed Deirdre, Fang, and Felicity are all wearing the same design...Maybe they started a gang, and that's why Felicity changed out of her Citrus Tee.
Right after the ceremony, Wart Jr. ran up again.

Like, really? I was literally just on my way up to the museum to display it! I told him that he heard wrong, and he figured his Kinderdijk Windmill radar must have been off, so I didn't feel so bad for having to turn him down. I promptly went up to Main Street to put that in the display room and have my fossils appraised. Once that was done, I sold my findings to Reese and did my routine shopping.
On my way up to the Roost, Deirdre called me over and told me that she was going to move. No! We have been making so much progress, Deirdre. I just want you to give me a Wisteria Trellis and Bus Stop. Is that too much to ask? Suggest that, and then you may leave. It's that simple.
Lolly was my first coffee customer today and she ordered her usual, which I now know by heart. Chief was second, and I recalled that just yesterday he told me that he likes Blend coffee. I tried lots of milk and three sugars to match Fang's preference, and that was exactly how he liked it. Becky was next, and she likes The Regular like Lolly does. Last was Kapp'n, and I believe I have finally figured him out. Blue Mountain, regular milk, no sugar. Perfect four for four! With that, I got the first of the Brewstoids! I think I may exchange it with one at the Club, since I can't think of a way to incorporate it in any of my houses at the moment.
Speaking of houses, I have just about everything set up in the Queen of Heart's throne room, with the exception of some refurbishing I have to do. I think I'm going to put the last of the developments on hold since the next room I want in the basement will require lots of the items from Weeding Day. Hopefully I can score a whole bunch and not have to go hunting for some. I can use the time from now until then to conjure up some more ideas.
