Good afternoon, everybody. I got a bit of an early start today. I wasn't ready to put my Two-Ball Tee away just yet, but I changed anyway. At least it'll still be fresh the next time I want to wear it. Outside my house, you'll never guess, I found Whitney. She said that it's essential to avoid UV rays from direct sunlight if you want to keep your skin looking young. But she's equipped with "an arsenal of skin-care products", so she told the UV rays to bring it on.
I had a letter, from Fang. He thanked me for inviting him over to my house yesterday and enclosed a Classic Wardrobe. Why is everyone giving me furniture that belongs in THEIR house? I didn't have it in my catalog, though, so I was thankful. I didn't plan on sending it to him, since he has a fair amount of Classic pieces already, and I'm afraid sending him anything might mess up the work I've done on his house already.
So I set off. I was pleased to find a white cosmos that had popped up overnight in Whitney's yard and transplanted them up in the 'forest'. I found Mitzi up by the fruit trees again today, and she called me over to offer me a Blue Dresser for 1,680 bells. I didn't need one, so I declined. She understood and was just happy to give it to me for free. Sweet!
I found Chief watering flowers beside his house, and he told me he needed a fruit for his heartburn. Again. He has got to stop overdoing it with the greasy food. Nevertheless, I ran up to the fruit trees and shook a persimmon down for him. This satisfied him and he rewarded me with a Gray Tank.
Buck was home so I popped in to say hello. He asked me if I knew how to use my camera and suggested I test it out on him.

He also told me that rumor is, I'm a pro listener. Thank goodness. I was getting awfully tired of being called a stump maker.
Continuing on with my duties, Whitney ran up to me by the Cobblestone Bridge. She said she finally found a butterfly machine for me, since apparently I had wanted one. I asked her what she was talking about, and though she was mistaken she gave it to me anyway as thanks for putting up with her. Aw, Whitney. You're nothing to put up with.
Wart Jr. called me over by the bonfire and asked me what kind of girl I think I am. I said the trendy type, just because it's more accurate than princess, passive, or aggressive. He assumed I meant I curl my hair and use color contacts all the time, which is only half true. I did have Harriet hook me up with some contacts, but that was only once and I've had them ever since. And as much as I do like fancy hair sometimes, it's mostly not worth the effort. I cannot be defined, Wart Jr. And don't forget it.
Checking my hybrid breeding field for any foreign obstructions, I found Felicity walking around with her fishing rod. She told me that she felt like her home was stuck in the past, and wanted something to replace her Handcart. I agreed to help her, and would buy anything at T&T I felt would be a good addition to her home.
Heading up to Main Street, Mitzi called me over again, this time on the Brick Bridge. She told me she tried making some "buche de Noel", whatever that is. She asked me how much pear juice I thought should go in it and, having no idea what she was talking about, just guessed a little. She said she would try it, so I hope it isn't bad.
I had my fossils checked out and sold all of my findings to Reese, then went back up to check the shops. I found Lolly browsing Leif's selection today.

Aww. ^^ I was flattered.
I bought a few of my usual things from Leif and didn't find much else, not even anything I thought would look nice in Felicity's house. At Nook's, I was excited to see a Fairy-Tale Exterior for sale. I do like my Garden Exterior, but this was too pretty to pass up. So I purchased it, and am looking forward to having all of the Fairy-Tale exterior pieces come tomorrow.
Back in town, Wart Jr. called me over outside of his house. He told me he wanted to move, and I was so torn. I love my little buddy, and he looks so dapper in the new shirt he got yesterday I was hoping to be able to admire him for a while longer. But I've been telling myself that some of my good but not permie friends need to go, as soon as I get their pictures. I agreed to let him leave, and he said he hoped we can be friends for a little while longer. Every waking minute until you leave, buddy. ):
After that, I went to work at the Roost. Lolly was my first customer, and I served her The Regular. Spork the pig came in next, and I had to admit he had a pretty cool name. He ordered a Kilimanjaro with lots of milk and three sugars and I thanked him for being so specific. Chief was third, and I served him his usual, what I have decided to dub The Cranky Wolf, since it's preferred by both him and Fang. Last was Phineas, and I didn't know anything he liked, so I made a random combination of Blue Mountain, a little milk, and two sugars. He said it was delicious even though it wasn't his preferred cup, and I was glad that SOMEBODY could appreciate anything that they're given. He told me he likes Kilimanjaro coffee with lots of milk and three sugars, the first time anyone had told me everything they liked in one go. You're not bad, Phineas.
Lastly I thought I would check out the island. No hibiscus starts again, unfortunately, but they did have a Mermaid Closet for sale that I needed for my catalog. Since I was getting low on medals, I decided to take a few tours. I selected the Official Balloon-Hunt tour first, because I didn't want to deal with pitfalls everywhere in the Elite tour. I got 51 points, which Tortimer was rather impressed with and gave me a gold award and 8 medals. Next, I went for Elite Hide-and-Seek. I found Vic, Kevin, Broffina, and Kid Cat in what felt like record time with 4:40 to spare. Needless to say, I got a gold award for that one, too. One more tour before I go home, I thought, so I picked the Elite Gardening Tour to finish up. Tortimer asked for white tulips, and I filled the bed in 2 minutes and 9 seconds. I earned a gold award, 12 medals, and the honorary title of 'Speedy McGreenthumb' for my performance.
Back to town, I noticed that Lolly had returned home. I decided to stop by, talk to her, and see what she did with the Modern Wood Bench I sent her. She displayed it, but not in favor of her sea bass, unfortunately. I can't complain, though. At least she has two Modern Wood pieces now. I think I'll find her a kitchen piece next and see what she does with that.
While in the area, I dropped the Homework Set I purchased at T&T off in front of Lily's, and had her order three more for a little something in her house. Then I needed something I would set them on, so I ordered a couple of Classic Bookcases. I thought I would try another idea I had involving Lucky Frogs and ordered four of those. Her castle is just lacking about one and a half rooms!
And that's all for Storrs today, fortunately this post was a bit shorter than they have been. x)
