Hey again, people! To start off today, I thought I would try yet another new outfit, and consulted my specific drawer of pieces to be styled I mentioned yesterday. First up was my new Silk Bloom Tee. I ended up with Acid-Washed Pants, Pink Sneakers, and my Hair-Bow Wig to match. I also bought some Silver Frames yesterday I thought I might like, and they went well enough with this outfit, too.
Next I checked my mail. I had a letter from Lolly, just saying that she found some stationery that reminded her of me; what looked like Vine Paper. She didn't have much to say, but said she looked forward to chatting soon, which we would most definitely do. I noticed that the skies were cloudy and wondered if I should grab an umbrella before I set off. I figured I would see what my instrument shelter said before deciding. So I checked it, since it's right above the plaza that I just so happen to live in front of. Whatever is actually in there told me that it was just going to stay cloudy and not rain, so I continued on about my business.
I know this will totally surprise you, but Wart Jr. pinged me AGAIN today. Everyday, without fail, I can always count on him. I'm really going to miss that. Anyhow, he just asked me to tell him what I think of him. I said super nice, which he was happy to hear. Chief was nearby and he asked if I wanted to hang out at his place for a while. Thinking it was a decent spot to take a break in patrol, I agreed and we made our way over to his house.

I noticed he displayed the Robo-Sofa I sent back to him after he had given it to me. I must say, his house has come together very nicely.
I got him to sell me the Cafe Tee that was sitting by the left wall, so now he just has a Fern Tee and plant sitting there. After I'd rested enough, I told Chief I think his place looks great and continued on my way.
Next door, I noticed that Buck was home, and decided I would visit each of my friends that were home after patrol. Over the Cobblestone Bridge and back down into Wonderland, Deirdre pinged me. Gasp! Could today finally be the day?! No. She noticed the Modern Bed I had in my pockets and offered to trade her Loud Bloom Tee for it, and I agreed. After that disappointing encounter, I went on to finish searching the rest of town, having several fossils and stray flowers to show for it.
On my way up to Main Street, I found Fang in the purple flower bed below the train station. He told me he had a delivery for Felicity go to his house by mistake, and I agreed to correct the problem for him. I ran back down to see if I could find Felicity around her house, and on the way ran into Deirdre in the Zen Park. I talked to her, and she wondered if I had any new furniture for her place. I had a Modern Wood Stool stashed away I meant to send to either her or Lolly, so I just gave it to her while I was there. She thanked me with a Modern Wardrobe, which was the last of the Modern series I needed for my catalog!
Fortunately, I found Felicity in her house and didn't have to search all over town for her. I gave her the package, which turned out to be a present for me! It was a Jungle-Camo Shirt, which I was less than excited to receive. I tried it on in front of her, just to make her happy, and decided even more that I did not want it.
Now could I finally make it up to Main Street? Evidently not, as Chief saw me run by Re-Tail and called me over. He told me he bought a Detective Shirt the other day, and I distinctively remembered him buying that from Re-Tail ages ago and having it in his house forever, but I said nothing and agreed to buy it from him anyway. I did like the thought of him wearing it, though.
Then I finally made it to the museum and had my fossils identified. After selling everything to Reese, I picked up the black Queen from Cyrus and dropped it off at Lily's. I thought I'd take the time to visit my house-bound friends and stopped in to see Buck first. He asked me what position I would play if I played soccer, and I said offense, which he said suited me. Next I went to Lolly's, and found Mitzi already there!

It's true, it seems like Lolly always has visitors. I wasn't jealous this time, though. Lolly and Mitzi are good friends, and rightly so.

I was glad to hear she likes what I sent her. ^^
Lastly, I went over to see Whitney, but she had left her house since I first went by it. So then I could do my routine shopping. On the way back, Deirdre pinged again by the Town Hall. PWP this time? Again, no; she wanted to trade her Blue-Bar Tee for the Flame Shirt I had just bought. I agreed, since I only had it for my catalog in the first place. She changed into it right away, and I thought it didn't look very good, but no worse than the Misty Tank had. Outside of Re-Tail, Chief pinged and wanted to trade his Blue Vase for the Blue-Bar Tee. Interested in the intricate art of chain-trading, I agreed to let him have it and wondered if anyone might want the Blue Vase. That didn't seem to be the case, however, so I sold everything to Reese and called it a day.
In Lily's house, I decided I liked the black Queen better than the white, which makes sense, considering the Red Queen. So I'm going to refurbish the other one to black and try to round up some more items for her throne room. See y'all next time!
