Hello again from Storrs. Not much happened today, but tomorrow is probably going to be busy so I thought I would go ahead and post today in case I can't tomorrow. I can't get lax on my blogging now!
First of all, can you guess? That's right -- Whitney was the first thing I saw upon leaving my house today. We had a rather interesting conversation. She said she actually used to be a flamenco dancer! I asked her why she doesn't dance any more, and she said that for one, you can't dance flamenco without any flamenco music. Also she only performs as part of a trio, and considering she has a 200-page member contract, it makes sense that she doesn't currently have a qualified singer and guitarist. Maybe I'll have her teach me a thing or two.

After that interesting exchange, I set out on patrol. I found Chief in his house and he asked me to catch a butterfly for his niece. I soon found a common butterfly and, as I type this, I realize that I did not give it to Chief but forgot and ended up selling it at Re-Tail instead. So. Ah well, he didn't need a butterfly in his house anyway.
Lolly pinged from beside her house and she gave me a Blue Track Jacket, just because. :') I spoke to her again and she asked if I would get her a fruit. Feeling I owed her something, I agreed and walked over to an apple tree across the path from her house. She enjoyed the fruit and gave me her Natty Tee. Yay! Now I can give it back to her and hope she puts it on again.
By this point I saw Felicity coming down across the cobblestone bridge behind her house. Exactly where I find her every day, actually. She wanted me to come by and see her house and since she didn't want to set a time, I was all for that. She welcomed me inside and I talked to her for a while until she offered to sell me anything I might want. I tried to get her Lab Bench away from her (I do NOT see how she manages to sleep on that thing!), but no luck. I ended up buying the Gold Bishop I'd had up in Re-Tail a long time ago and for some unknown reason let her buy. That was much better.

Next I found Deirdre with her fishing rod beside the hybrid breeding field. She wanted to come see my house and also didn't want to set a time, so I had her over right then. I gave her the grand tour and she really seemed to enjoy herself, so maybe she'll suggest a PWP for me soon? A girl can dream.
The rest of the day was just formalities, but one interesting thing happened my last time at Re-Tail. As I was leaving from selling my last batch of stuff, Fang walked in. Since I'd been waiting for him to buy his Icy Shirt for ever, I ran right back in the door. But...Fang wasn't there anymore. Like, how? I never left the doorway, he could NOT have gone out without me noticing. Unless Reese and Cyrus have some secret backdoor exit? I shall have to investigate that further...
