Happy Saturday, folks! The weather in Storrs today was certainly odd. I emerged from my house to only slightly cloudy (mostly sunny) skies, but rain was lightly sprinkling down. I changed my outfit to something still cool, but grabbed an umbrella to match.

Once it turned two o'clock, the clouds dissipated but the rain was still falling... But that was only for about five minutes, and then the rain stopped completely and a rainbow came out.

Aside from the weird weather, my villagers were needy as usual today. Whitney wanted a pear; I got one a little way's into my patrol, so I ran back to give it to her. She thanked me with some Cloud Flooring. Colton was in the breeding lilies behind the Plaza, and I was happy to see him today. I feel like I hadn't been able to find him anywhere the past couple days... He wanted me to come over to his house and we set a time for 2:30.
Fang pinged and wanted me to have his Snow Globe. I didn't mind taking it off his hands, since he'd replaced it in his room a while ago, and it wasn't all that great in his house to begin with. I spoke to him again, and he wanted me to return something to Greta for him that he had borrowed. I really considered opening it and keeping it for myself, but I thought the best way to get Greta to move was to be friendly with her.
I found Buck at home, and he asked me what position I would play if I were a baseball player. I said I would probably be best as a manager, then he asked me what type of team I would put together. I considered a good-looking team for a moment...but I figured a fun team was more important. He seemed to agree.

And Buck would be my starting pitcher, of course.
I found Deirdre out by her house, but she didn't ping today. We talked about the rain, and she brought out a very good point.

That was so true. I love seeing everyone with their umbrellas on rainy days.
I found Melba outside of Fang's house, and she wanted a new piece of furniture for her house. Since her furniture is so random, I couldn't think of anything off the top of my head that would be a good fit in her room. Something Modern Wood or Minimalist, maybe. I would see what the shops were selling today.
With that, I finished my stroll through town, sold my findings, and made my way to Main Street. The best thing for Melba's house I saw at the Emporium was a Home Computer Rack, which I thought might actually look rather cute. Back in town, I took a minute to stop by Town Hall and talk to Isabelle about demolishing the Modern Bench in front of the Station. I liked it, so maybe I'll just relocate it after I re-landscape some around the entrance to town.
On my way to find Melba, I ran by Deirdre and she pinged! No PWP, unfortunately. She wanted me to take her Fall Leaf Shirt, and I was very happy to do so since I could finally send it back to her. It's such a hassle making sure everyone keeps their original shirts in their houses.
Still looking for Melba, I found Colton again and he said he was so over his Range. I didn't remember him having one in his house...but he didn't ask me for anything to replace it, so he must have just been holding onto it. He offered it to me for a price, and I agreed to buy it from him.
Then I found Melba in the breeding flowers and gave her the new piece of furniture I bought for her. She seemed to like it and thanked me with an Eagle Pole. I noticed that two trees I'd been farming for special stumps around the Bonfire had matured, so I went home to grab my axe and cut them down. I got a butterfly stump from one! FINALLY. I already had two butterfly stumps there, but I'll leave it for now. One more special stump to go.
Then it was 2:30 and time to head up to Colton's. He was ready for me and welcomed me in. Eventually I got him to offer me some of his furniture, and I got his U-R-Tee out of there. We chatted for a bit but he didn't have much to say, so after a few minutes I left him to his business.
Chief was my only friend I didn't see today, but I eventually found him perusing the art exhibit at the museum.

Lastly, Fang pinged at me again and told me to have his Melon Gingham Tee. After that, Melba noticed the tee and offered me her Wooden Box for it. She didn't change into it, unfortunately..I thought it would be pretty cute on her.
And that's all for this post. Just one more PWP to demolish in front of the Train Station before I can start working on the new idea that I have, so hopefully that'll go well! See you all next time.
