Greetings to all again from Storrs. I hope everyone is enjoying the last day of their weekend. Or, if you're like me, I hope your Sunday is just as good as any ol' other day of the week. 
I have a bit to share with you from my town yesterday evening and today, so let's get into it.
Last night, all I did was move the last of my house over to Lily's -- upstairs and downstairs, and attend the awards ceremony for this month's Bug-Off. As expected, my early second-place catch was surpassed, but I didn't mind. My friends did great.

Now onto today. Straight out of the gate, before I could even head back in and change my clothes, Whitney came running over to me. She gave me a Bear Tee for free, which was all cool I guessed, until she said...

That's the first I've heard of Colton and Whitney's issue in a while! I was hoping they dropped it and all was well, but it must be bad for her to get rid of a gift he had given her... Perhaps he was trying to make amends?
After that, I could change my outfit for the day.

I ordered myself a parasol yesterday, because I think I'm as tan as I would like to get. Also, as you can see, with the addition of the mailbox I now have all of the golden parts on my house! I have to say that the fence is probably my favorite, and I will definitely be getting the exterior for the Red Queen's Castle. And speaking of that, Lily ran into Lyle outside of her house today. And that could only mean one thing: She can sign up for a theme challenge! I had him sign me up for the fairy tale challenge and we'll see how my score is looking tomorrow. I still need to purchase all fairy tale-themed exterior parts, so hopefully that doesn't take too long.
Chief also pinged me today and had me take his Sunflower. I've wanted to get that back to him since he replaced it, so I happily took it off his hands and put it up for sale in Re-Tail. After I'd finished my daily patrol and emptied my pockets to Reese, I paid a visit to Fang.
