Hello again, everybody! I've been pretty week on the title game lately, and this post is no exception. This will likely be my last post before I go on vacation, since tomorrow I'll be busy with running around/packing, and Thursday we leave. That said, let's get on with it.
Right after I changed my clothes this morning, Chief stopped by for a surprise visit. That was good, at least it couldn't mean he was sore at me for missing our appointment yesterday. He thanked me for my time with a mango and told me to eat it, so I did.
After he left, I went outside and set off on my patrol of the town. First and foremost, I found a four-leaf clover right outside of my house!

Ironically, after I reinstated my beautiful town ordinance. And it's only the second clover I've ever picked all this time in my town.
We had another camper today, this time it was Kitt. She was very sweet, so I agreed to play a game with her for my Minimalist Ottoman. I ended up winning, so she paid a little over 2,000 bells for it.

Shortly after, I came upon Cyrano's house and went in to bid him a final farewell.

Tomorrow I'll be able to finally properly landscape the rest of my area in front of the train station! I can't wait. I've been collecting cedar saplings and blue hydrangea starts for the day his house is gone.
Outside of Chief's house, I found Lily and she asked me if I'd ever gone to Chief's house to hang out. I know she couldn't have known anything about it, but that made me feel even guiltier about forgetting to hang out with him yesterday. So today I made sure to write a letter to him and apologize.
Melba was home, and I was happy to see that she displayed the Minimalist Sofa and Chair since I'd been there last. Now she's back to having just one Blue item that I need to get out! She asked me to get her a perfect fruit, and I went out to shake down a pear from a tree beside her house, and she thanked me with a Polka-Dot Stool.

Lastly, I finally went about setting up my fourth alternate character. I had a hard time coming up with a name and just went with Stef. Anyhow, it will likely be a while before I get to working on their house, but at least I can work on befriending Sable and getting mannequins for now.

Also, I hate myself for just coming up with this, but I thought of a brilliant idea for the Connecticut side of town, and I think it would look best exactly where I had decided to relocate the Zen Park to. At least I've only reconstructed the Zen Garden and planted only a few bamboo shoots at this point, so I suppose it could have been worse. x) I can relocate the Zen Park over to where Cyrano's house is and down to the river, although it would be smaller, which I think would look okay. So we'll see what happens with that.
I may find a day or two to post while I'm on vacation, so it won't be sayonara for too long. And I'll be sure to include whatever goes down in Storrs while I'm gone. See you next time!
