Happy Monday, everyone! I didn't have much motivation to blog over the weekend, especially since not much happened, so I'll catch up with the past three days in this post.
Day 509
On Saturday, I visited Colton and we had a rather interesting conversation about trains.

He went on and on about different models and eventually told me that he secretly likes to geek out over trains. Another piece of random information to file away about my good friend, I suppose! x) Either way, it was quite entertaining. After that, he gave me the Regal Clock he replaced when I sent him my Regal Vanity. I was hoping he would have set it out in favor of his Bear Costume, but alas. I'm never that fortunate.
Fang gave me a Speedway Tee, just because, and Chief talked about the first letter I ever sent him. Buck wanted a new piece of furniture and I excitedly gave him the Sloppy Lamp I'd been saving for him, but he said it wasn't big enough for what he wanted. Well then. Buck got nothing.
Day 510
On Sunday, Whitney gave me a good pep talk for bad hair days.

Then she complimented me on my Yellow Ribbon, which was very sweet of her.
I took Melba her third dose of medicine and hoped to see her fully recovered the next day. Oh, and Whitney gave me yet another "gift".

That makes the third time in two weeks! Gosh, it's starting to get old. If Whitney likes Colton that much, she needs to stop dropping hints on me and talk to him herself. There's nothing I can tell him about her!
Speaking of Colton, he wanted to trade for a piece of furniture that I was carrying and I turned him down since I knew it wouldn't match his decor. I had no idea it would make him think that nothing he had was good enough.

I wrote a letter immediately, apologizing for making him sad, and sending him his Regal Clock instead. I hoped that would make him feel better. <3
I hit up the Police Station yesterday evening and found it chock full of stuff! That was definitely a first. When I checked on all of the items, I discovered that most of them were actually Gracie furniture!! I was shocked.

That must be what my villagers do with all of the Gracie things they buy up before I can get to them when she has a sale! But then I got to thinking...I had some Gracie furniture lying out in the plaza that got a tent set on top of them. So maybe items go straight to the lost and found when that happens! That's pretty awesome, actually, since it's incredibly frustrating. Too bad it doesn't work that way with flowers, though. Nevertheless, I got all of my lost items back!
Day 511
Today, Whitney was outside of our houses and pinged me when I came out. She had a Flame Tee to give me, and let me have for my brutal honesty when I said I had never asked for one. Colton was home again and I was happy to see that he displayed his Regal Clock again, but disappointed to see that it was in place of his Regal Lamp. His house is starting to be one big, painful Regal cycle.

He did give me a Minimalist Chair for free, so I was happy. I could save that for Melba.
Chief invited me to come over to his house at 1 o'clock, and I was very excited to do so and get one of his many shirts out of his house. Only now, as I write this, do I realize that I totally forgot about him. D; I'll write a letter right away and apologize for standing him up.
Lily asked me to catch her a dragonfly, and though I wasn't carrying my net at the moment I couldn't turn her down. After I spoke to her, I found Phineas wandering around again! I've been racking up the badges lately. o: I wondered what it could be this time.

Well, I HAD been doing quite a bit of refurbishing lately.
With that, I got the gold Refurbishing Master badge!
Deirdre was home and wanted me to bring Whitney to her. I did so immediately, and Deirdre just wanted to give Whitney a shirt that she had wanted. Whitney was very thankful and rushed off to take care of an errand she forgot about. Deirdre was a little disappointed that she didn't stay longer, but thanked me with a Portable Toilet for helping her out. Not exactly the best gift, but it's the thought that counts?
Melba thanked me for taking such good care of her with a Lefty Lucky Cat, new to my catalog. Fang was at home and wanted something to sit on top of his Classic Bookcase. I didn't have anything in particular for him and couldn't find anything in the shops that would look nice, so I had to pass on this opportunity to help him.
I went to the island to check out the gift shop (no Tropical Vista this time :c) and went on a tour to catch a dragonfly for Lily. I went back to town and gave it to her, and she thanked me with a Minimalist Ottoman. Wow, I've just been raking in the Minimalist items lately. I'm not sure I could even give them all to Melba. However, immediately after that, Melba noticed my Minimalist Chair from Colton and I was all too happy to sell it to her. Hopefully she sets it out in a nice spot!
And that's all that's gone down between my villagers and me over the past three days. I hope you enjoyed this post of Life in Storrs! Until next time.
