What colors are everyone decorating with? I wanted to go for purple and blue/nontraditional, but it doesn't feel holiday-y :(

I was thinking of taking light blue/white combine them with warm yellows/gold tones. But I'll probably have to wait a little to see what my island looks like covered in snow before I can try to make that work...

I'll probably do red and gold, and I might just keep it traditional, but I'd be down for a blue/purple if I feel like it.
I'm honestly trying to figure out which flowers in purple and blue seem the most holiday-ish yanno? Idk how to make it seem more like an untraditional color scheme but still feel like christmas.

uh...
i'll probably do the golden variants of the furniture
Honestly gold would be so pretty with any color for a christmas theme

I’m going with golds, blues and reds. Those are the most appealing colors to me. I’m not a big fan of the non-green trees, though. They feel a bit too artificial to me...

I’m going with the white customization of the festive trees and the blue/white illuminated decorations. I’m using blue roses. Right now I’m liking this but I may switch to something more traditional if I get bored of it. I think my color choices will look really pretty with snow though.

I'm honestly not even sure I'm going to decorate my island for christmas, I play in the southern hemisphere and christmas is right in the middle of summer here which makes it a bit more difficult to feel festive with the "traditional" christmas decorations haha

I feel the same way. Most of my decorating is sequestered to my lodge area; I only plan on having one big festive tree outside for the upcoming gift exchange.

I don’t count my abundant illuminated reindeer as those are staying year-round lol

honestly, my theme is all over the place and so, i’m not too sure what’ll look good or what won’t. that being said, while i don’t see myself doing too much decorating, i think i’ll be going with a blue, gold and rainbow palette, to match the rest of my island; it definitely won’t look traditional but i’ve never really been one for tradition, anyway ;p

With the illuminated items, maybe a blue/gold theme. But I don't care for the deep blues on the festive set, so I'm leaning on the red.

It's probably just going to be haphazard either way because I'm also SH.

I’m Southern Hemisphere so I don’t have snow but I’m thinking of using orange/gold tones with bits of green and blue to help everything blend into the green grass and the rustic forest village theme of my island. I really love the illuminated items so it’s going to be interesting to see how well they blend into my theme and the greenness of summer.

I'm thinking yellow, white and blue for illuminated. Probably default for the festive set.

But it still depends on how it would actually look. Sometimes my visual expectations don't work out in practice.

I'll be using big festive trees, most likely in there default color, three-tier snowperson, and if possible the classic reds and greens for flowers. Holly bushes are nice, too. I won't be going too crazy with decorating, though. I like simplicity.

I really like the frozen furniture so I'll be using it a lot. Since my island is a fancy shmancy resort, it has to be decked out with all the best decorations and I will try to vary each decoration by using different customisations. However, like I said, I am in love with the frozen set, especially the frozen pillar and three-tier snowpeople

On my original island, everything is pink themed so I'll probably stick with that. My other one is more natural so I intend to use a lot of reds and greens. One will be fun and the other more traditional, so the best of both worlds!

On my island I focused on light up things and based it around white and gold :) As it's summer for me, adding the white makes it feel like the holidays :) and goes well with everything!

I think I am just going to decorate with regular old red, green, white, and gold for Christmas. I might switch out my pastel teacup ride for a colorful one since there is no Christmas-colors teacup ride.
