Decorating island for Christmas

I'm trending more toward wintery colors than specific holiday, so staying with blues, whites, and occasional pops of color to break it up (I have the spooky carriage in white with red springy ride-ons to pull it, for example). Once it gets closer to the actual holidays, I'll put out some trees and use a few illuminated items, but I'm more up for stuff I can keep up all season.

I wish it were possible to gift villagers holiday decoration items that they would only display in/on their houses during the holidays for a limited time. I would gift them all gold rose wreaths for example, but I don't want those up all the time just temporarily.

Once they come out, you can make the ornament wreaths for them. I would imagine they'll only keep those up during the holiday season.

Red, white, and gold is pretty much the colors I'm using but I'm not being too picky. I have a rainbow of flowers across my island and I'm not touching them so any theme is going to be broken up a bit.

i'm going for white and glowy with lots of candles!
