If you'd like to keep it in one season, you could probably just sync back to real time during certain holidays, and then move back when you're done.

I agree with JKDOS! Since villagers no longer move out at random you are safe to stay in your preferred season, jump to real time to do events, and jump back again. I play in real time but I have certain dates saved for the season and weather condition I like and I always TT back to those dates to update my DA, then I return back to real time. The only thing that might get annoying is weed spread.

in ac the last two weeks of november or whenever the maple leaves come out are my favorite...i've just time traveled to march 2021 however and everything is so pretty and green,,,i know one thing, i dont like the snow so much,,,like i love christmas and the snow's cool its just BLINDINGLY white. i'd prefer to stay in deep red leaves fall or spring-summer

at the moment I'm playing through in real time but I'm so tempted to one day just keep my island around spring/summer, because as much as I love winter I just miss the green grass and everything! I feel like I have so much more motivation when everything isn't blindingly white, although maybe I just coincidentally had more motivation in the summer compared to now

I recently re-acquired a Switch and NL for Christmas and I TT'd back to autumn within a week of having it. I live in the southern U.S. where it never snows and seeing snow on my island was sort of alienating. I'd rather have the warm and cozy fall vibes for now than the cold snowy vibes. I'll probably bring my clock back up to speed during spring or whatever winter holidays that might come in an update, but I'm really not excited to bring snow back onto my island.

lately i've been staying in cherry-blossom season and today i decided to stay in it forever lol

i'll connect my switch to real time when there's an event or if i play another game (the time messes up my other games)
but i don't really need to go to other seasons and my island looks super cute with pink trees ♡

If we we're talking about any of the other games, I would suggest buying another cartridge, so you could have 1 town that enjoys all of the seasons and another stuck in whatever season you choose. Unfortunately, with Nintendo's choice to keep Animal Crossing New Horizons locked to the console and not the cartridge itself...

I agree with the others. Time traveling seems to be your best bet. You can save your dream address in the winter and invite your friends over during that time, thus keeping your style intact. And then when no one is visiting you can always time travel back to the correct date and enjoy the different seasons.

Whatever you end up doing, I think it's a cool idea! Good luck on your town!

I don't keep my island in one season, since I'm continuing to play NH in real time. However, if I was to pick one season to keep my island in forever, it'd have to be winter.
