Holiday Candy Cane 2017
I love this game BUT... I was shocked when I finished it 2 days after I bought it. And I only played it in the evenings. And it seems like it ends before the story line is wrapped up. I would bet that a sequl is in the works and I really hope this is the case! I would love to hear other opinions and thoughts about this game. I would like to see more games in this vein. If anyone knows of any I would love to hear about that too.

From what you've said that the story doesn't seem to be a complete end, I'm guessing they will make a sequel. Hopefully they will if they game does well on sells. I just got done playing the demo and I really enjoyed that but I don't have the money to buy the game so I'll hold off. Maybe if they make a sequel, I will buy both.

I love the giant amiibo.

Even if I never get the game, I want that amiibo.

I bought the game and the amiibo, but I haven't played it yet, I'm really looking forward to it though. Since I haven't actually played it yet, I'm not sure if the Professor Layton games are similar (they seem like they would be though). If you haven't played any of those I recommend them. Or if you're looking for a spinoff Pokemon game, the Pokemon Rangers games are fun.

I'm loving this game so far. Although now I'm a bit disappointed since I know you don't get to see the end of the story lol. The graphics are great and Pikachu acting like an old man makes me laugh every time.

That's what actually puts me off it.
Apart from it being too simple, they've destroyed Pikachu by making him sound like an old degenerate.

No more cyoot PIKA, PIKA, PEEEEE! :(

Tis a crime I tell you.

A CRIME!

Haha I think it's kinda charming. To each his own though. :p

Pikachu is the heart of Pokemon.

I played it for years, and to hear that horrid voice from lil Pika is just.... WRONG.

They murdered Pikachu and replaced him with one of the old gangsters from Goodfella's!

I just downloaded the demo.

I'm sorry, butI tried to like it, and just couldn't get into it. :(

I enjoyed Mystery Dungeon better. ^_^

Pikachu's voice put me off the game at first too. But there is a VERY good reason why he sounds like that and I will say no more about that as it is part of the story line. LOVE the game but finished it in 2 days.

I did decide to try the first Professor Layton game and it is way too smart for me lol. I am not interested in puzzles that requre me to actually work ha ha. I also have a Phoenix Wright game on order and I have a suspicion that this might be the same "too smart for me" situation but nothing ventured nothing gained.

Haha yeah sometimes Layton makes me feel so stupid. I've played a little Phoenix Wright, it took me a while to figure out how it works and to get in the groove of it, but it's been fun so far.

Finished this game yesterday. Took me about 5 days to finish. I loved all the voices and the story was very engaging. I wish they hadn't left me on a cliffhanger like that, but oh well. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. :p

It wasn't even 3d. :(

I got very bored, very quickly, and Pikachu's voice was intolerable.

Phoenix Wright is great! Haha I can kind of be a slow person so it took me a bit to get the groove of Phoenix Wright but it's a great game.

As for Detective Pikachu, it seems interesting and I've played the demo but it's not worth the 40 bucks imo.

I very much enjoyed this game, although it did hold my hand a bit too much for my taste (I chose the less hints mode, but I've also become used to Layton and Wright, so that could be part of it). Pikachu's voice was odd, at first, but as the game progressed, I came up with some theories (hope the sequel won't make us wait too long to see if I'm right) that could explain it.

It was a quick game, but with a bit of time away from it, I think there is replay value. By the time the sequel comes out, I'll be ready to play again, if only to refresh my memory of the story.

Oh, and the amiibo is adorable and definitely worth getting!

I have the game and amiibo, none of which I have opened or used yet, I'm about to start ni no Kuni 2

I hate Pikach's voice, its just so ugly and I don't like Pikachu anymore because of that game. And the game gets soooo boring man I just fall asleep, I was almost asleep when I was playing that game.
