Im almost "done" with my villager lineup. But i feel like i should have five males and five females. Atm i have six females and four males. The ones im considering replacing is either Diana or Sprinkle.
I like both alot, but i have some minor grievances with them.
Ive had Whitney, another snooty villager, since early on in the game. I still prefer her to Diana. Diana and Whitney also feels really similar stylewise, since theyre both tall, white villagers with the same personality types.
Sprinkle is alot of fun. But i generally try to go for villagers with a natural looks. Sprinkles icecream inspired aqua colors, doesnt really fit that aesthetic.
Anyone wanna chime in on which villager to get rid off?
Personally I would get rid of Diana. Like you said, she's very similar to Whitney - and I definitely think Whitney is the better of the two. And even though Sprinkles might not look natural, she's very cute, and winter will be here before you know it. She's such a nice winter villager to have!
I have Diana on my island and really like her, she’s my favourite snooty in the game, but I do agree that she’s pretty similar design wise to Whitney. I had them both on my island at the same time for a while and though I loved both of them I can see that the pair of them with the same personality and a similar look can be a bit too alike one another.
For your island I’d personally pick Sprinkle, I think she’s a really nice and friendly villager. I love her colour scheme and while it doesn’t fit into your usual island aesthetic I think if you can see past that then she’d be a great addition to your island and bring something different then just natural looking villagers that you might find you enjoy having on your island. Also she’s very different style wise to other peppy villagers so she shouldn’t be too similar to any other peppy’s you might have.
oh boy. this is a tough one since they’re two of my all-time favourite villagers, but i personally would let diana go. she’s amazing, but she is very similar to whitney, so i can imagine that it might not be very exciting to have both of them due to that. i know that i personally would become bored of it after a while, even though i love both of them dearly.
sprinkle’s design may not be one that you typically go for, but it’s totally okay to have a villager that stands out from the rest! if you like her, then that’s all that matters. plus, if you ever have more than one peppy villager, her design will help her to stand out from them as while the dialogue may be the same, there’s really no peppy villager like sprinkle imo.
i’m speaking from experience here; i once had her and 3 other peppies on my island at the same time LOL. the repetitive dialogue was gruesome, but sprinkle was still her unique self in my eyes. <3
I'd keep Diana personally, as I'm not overly fond of the penguins. Sprinkle is probably the best penguin though. Sorry, I don't think I helped much haha. Perhaps bite the bullet and replace both if you're unsure of both anyway? Keeps it exciting!
If you are someone who likes winter theme and like cold weathers then choose Sprinkle, but if you're someone who is a fan of Dears and you find them all you cute then you should get Diana. Either way whoever you choose is up to you and based on your personal preference.
I personally really like Diana (and her house interior is really nice). but since you’ve said she is a lot like Whitney, I would keep Sprinkles and boot Diana just to have a little bit of variety.
I have had Whitney, Diana and Sprinkle on one of my islands. I kept Sprinkle. I like both Diana and Whitney. Between those I would keep Diana and Sprinkle and let Whitney go.
