Hello! Someone is giving me one of my dream villagers today and Diana needs a home! She's in boxes. It's 5am and I haven't slept at all, so the person who bids the highest before 2pm PST (California time) gets her and needs to pick her up no later than 2:30pm! Please. I already had one failed auction for her in the past but it was my fault with poor planning and moving. And another person wanted her but lost a villager accidentally. :-( So here's to finding her a new home now! Thank you!

and yeah it can happen if you have space and you streetpass someone who recently had a villager voided. Not sure if it's strict when you are down to 8 or 9 though.
