I was about to go Star fragment searching and I was checking meteonook, and my seed is no longer accurate!
I wasn't sure if anyone else ran into the same problem but I'm pretty sure they slid in some new cloud patterns which totally messed up dataminers and their meteonook website.
Is this just me or did others have this problem?

I’m aware that they added more weather patterns in the code last update, but I thought I read that it hasn’t actually been turned on yet. As of today, my meteonook code is still working.

Like @Kg1595 said, dataminers found that they created new weather patterns but none of them have actually be implemented into the game, therefore MeteoNook is unaffected. The only reason your weather would suddenly be wrong is if it’s a holiday/event (Halloween, Toy Day, Fishing Tourney, etc.) or if you moved in a new player character that day. If neither of those is the case then I’m not sure.

Weather patterns and seeds have not changed yet, so Meteonook is still good yet.

Your weather seed (used for pseudorandomness) should forever stay the same. The problem won't be that you'll need to find your seed again, but rather Meteonook will no longer be accurate or capable of finding your seed someday if Nintendo continues to add more weather patterns and/or adjust current weather patterns.

Ninji has retired from their datamining service. So unless they come back, or another dataminer takes over the open-source project, the potential doom is there.

This is what I'm afraid of. The app being inaccurate because of the new patterns and whatnot. On the one had, it'll be great that they add more variety or whatnot, but on the other... sadness that I won't have a reliable way to get a forecast. Now if the game itself would give a weekly forecast somewhere, that would be pretty nice.

Meteonook was fun when I needed to maximize my potential for finding Celeste, but these days I like being back where I was most of the time and being surprised by the weather (or sneaking a peak of tomorrow's forecast on the TV), so I never look at it

I hope Nintendo doesn't implement the new weather patterns and break MeteoNook. While I am getting fairly close to collecting all of Celeste's DIYs, it's still nice to know what the weather's going to be. The weather forecast on the TV doesn't help very much and it's so hard to catch it, even if you do have a TV set up somewhere. It's so difficult to catch some of these weather patterns without MeteoNook's help.
