I planned to go to Kapp'n first, but i had to go inside and clear my inventory. Of course, Phoebe dropped in immediately. Luckily it was so cute!

No. I went straight to Resident Services to enact my preferred ordinance and spent Nook Miles on things I know I’ll be using (especially the new cooking features).

Kinda. I did search for the visiting NPC. I was hoping for Leif but wound up getting Sahara.

I didn’t have enough space to check for new wallpapers and such, so I went back home. Chrissy stopped by. It was neat playing the card game. The two cards ended up as 69 and I thought that it was funny. I like that we now have the option to ask them to stay longer.

Once Chrissy left, I checked the twins as planned. There were no new items.

Nope. I found out that recipe cards could now be stored, which I hadn’t expected, so I ended up cleaning up my right first floor room that was covered in them. Then one of my villagers came over. I passed a Night Owl ordinance, which was on my to-do list, but never got around to upgrading my storage (which was what I originally expected to start with).

Nope. Had to postpone an item giveaway I promised for someone over Discord, so now the first thing I'll be doing is getting that item for him. LMAO

I did. The very first thing I wanted to do was upgrade my storage, and I did. I also ended up doing the next thing I wanted to do, which was go to Harv's Island and begin unlocking those RVs.

Update: I kinda did, but kinda didn't get to do the first thing. Because of circumstances, I couldn't deliver the item as I written in my last post, so the first thing I did end up doing was getting a villager visiting my home (see that "Which Villager Visited Your Home" thread). And the next thing is...

At least HHP DLC should formally drop tomorrow night along with everything else.

I just walked around for a bit. My island suddenly felt a lot more lively lol. Claude, Norma and Lopez were doing zoomies at the plaza which I hadn't seen in a long time. Gloria was watching from a bench but got up and joined in (Gloria? she's normally a bit stuck-up so I wasn't expecting her to participate haha). So I took some screenshots and went to Kapp'n's dock to admire him for a bit and then went to the museum to talk to Blathers. I'm not surprised it'll take a few days for Brewster to join the island.
So back to Kapp'n I went and took the boat trip (what would happen if you take the trip before talking to Blathers?).

I'm really excited but a bit sad we can only take 1 trip per day.

Yep! I went to RS to get the new items. I had already launched the game earlier in my morning before the update dropped so my Nooks and npc for the day Leif did not have any of the new items. I did still go to Nooks and pick up the new recipes though.
