Did you sell or throw away your flowers?

There's way too many flowers (especially hybrids) that I end up selling because you can't go wrong with extra bells

I have an overflow of blue roses and a ton of gold roses so it's extra
Plus at least for the other hybrids the plucked flowers are the same value as the dug up plants so if I have a lot of those I can double what I get from the nooklings by plucking it and digging it up

About 70% of my island is covered in flowers, I think. And every once in a while I make an attempt to get rid of them. I used to sell them at first, but with thousands of flowers, it was just too much of an effort to make a trip to the shop every time. If I'm close, I'll still do it, but I don't really need the money anyway. I usually just throw them away.

I'm facing that decision as I clean up my island right now. I think I'll probably sell them just to have some extra bells on hand, but I also foresee myself getting fed up halfway through and just carrying a trash can around so I can be done with them as soon as possible, lol.

Oh my word... it never even occurred to me to sell the plucked flowers AND the plants. I would've just sold the plant itself and been done with it. Mind = blown. I guess I won't be hauling around a trash can now that I know this It might be common knowledge within the Community™ but thank you for saying it; I had no idea.

it’s been eons since i’ve dug up any flowers (though i really should get on that... my island is overrun with them lol), but i’ve always just thrown them away. it’s quicker, and i don’t really need the bells lol.

At first I was selling them on Nookazon. Then it was just too much, so I started selling them on the drop box in game. I never throw them out. I figured any small amount of bells is good for me. All of mine have been placed on permanent spots and I don’t get a mess of them anymore. Only small areas I still have to dig up, but it’s not a whole lot.

I have several bushes and flowers blooming all over my island, but sometimes it feels excessive. (similar to my obsession with gyroids) So I dig some up and sell them. However, if I have other necessary ingredients I use them in a DIY recipe that is either kept or sold. (depending on what it is)

I throw them away because it’s easier to carry a trash can with you over running to Nook’s 500,000 times.

My island is full of Gold and Blue roses so I threw out the ones I didn't need.

I sold a lot of mine...but I'm going to start throwing them away, because it's a pain to run back and forth to my shop. If I craft a trashcan, I can literally just carry it with me, place it down where I am digging up flowers...and toss stuff right in. Which is my plan moving forward.

Once I start up my island this year, I’m definitely selling my flowers. It’s easier to do, but if I do get extra hybrids, I will give those away to others that need them.

I always sell any flowers I get to earn a few extra bells, its annoying running to Nook's Cranny a million times but I don't really like throwing away things for nothing.
Also there isn't any flowers growing on my currently completed island as of writing this.

I have a small section of hybrids on my beach, they've been sitting there for like two years now probably. I should really just sell them, which is what I always do with the rest of the excess flowers I come across!

Most the time, I'll dump them but if I forgot or something, I'll sell. It just depends what's the most convenient thing to do in that moment.

I always sell them or give them away if I see someone is looking for them. I empty my pockets for less trips, and to save running back and forth to Nook's Cranny I use 2 of the Mario pipes. Leave one outside Nook's for a quick run in and out and make the other pipe portable. Saves a lot of time!

I sell them! Never thought about throwing them away. I figure they take about the same amount of effort either way so might as well sell (even though bells don't have a lot of purpose in NH haha).

I've got my island pretty well curated now, so the only time I need to dig up flowers is after rain/snow. There aren't usually too many of those, so I sell. I don't need the bells, but who am I to turn down a few thousand?

When I'm breeding flowers I toss the rejects so I don't risk mixing them with more desirable genotypes. Only if the flower sells for a decent price do I take the time to sell it. So I do a mix of both.
