A few days ago I pre-ordered Happy Home Designer. On the Nintendo eShop site it said that you can get a free Happy Home Designer screen theme for your 3DS!
I had Nintendo eShop credit, so paying for it was easy. But I didn't read the fine print.
I downloaded the digital copy of Happy Home Designer. I've been playing for an hour; it's quite fun. But I was looking for the "free theme" and couldn't find a way to download it.
I am now looking at the sales page within the Nintendo eShop. It says right now:
"Bonus: Get a download code for a free Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer: Your Office theme when you buy the Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer game for Nintendo 3DS in the Nintendo eShop*. You'll find the download code for the free theme on your Nintendo eShop receipt."
Now I did not see this when I pre-purchased the game.
Lesson of the Day:
IF YOU BUY THE DIGITAL COPY OF HAPPY HOME DESIGNER - LOOK CAREFULLY AT YOUR RECEIPT....if you want the free theme.
UPDATE:
After searching deep within the eShop I found my receipt - it is there! It is at the bottom of the receipt. So if you want the free theme make sure to write it down when you purchase it! Downloading the theme now...
