So basically I have recently got happy home designer and I furnished the whole school now I realise i didn't wallpaper or do the flooring ... Can I re design or do I need to start all over again?
Nope you don't needvto restart your game. If I remember correctly, you unlock the ability to redesign public projects, such as the school, once you finish your 4th public project!
You can redesign, you just have to build a few more of the facilities first before Digby will show up in the office and let you remodel facilities you've already done.
So glad I saw this XD I was about to reset. I made an epic zen/japanese themed school but the teacher doesn't face the students because the teacher's desk is the same as the student's desk XD It looks super weird to have the teacher talking towards his/her own desk and not addressing the students~

Haha, I know the feeling. The first concert hall I designed, for some bloody reason, the animals stood on the wrong side of the instruments. Performing a musical number, with their backs to the audience. x_x

Animals can stand at any side of an object and interact, so just because the teacher is facing away from the students once doesn't mean they'll do that every time. Sometimes they wander off and talk at an object on one side of the room (like, say, a microscope on a table along the side wall), again with their backs to the students. You can try and control this somewhat by having a standard teacher's desk with a front and back, but chances are that they'd still face the wrong way sometimes. This occasionally happens in shops too--villagers will stand on the wrong side of the cash register.
