Do we only have the three lighting options?

Is there any way to change the lighting? Other than the three options.
In new leaf if we wanted more light, we can choose lighting from different items, and it created different lighting for the whole room.

I’m trying to do this in new horizon, but other than the three light options is there more? One of it is too bright, the other is too dark. There’s one option that’s ok, but my top room seems too dark.
I tried adding more light (lamps). But they don’t light up the room. It’s like a flashlight, it just adds lighting to a small 1 square area.

Some wallpaper let in natural light. I've used fish tank light, birthday table, candles, spotlight, and bunch of stuff. I hate you can't aim at your target with the spotlight.

I’ll try swapping the wallpaper then. Something is just preventing light on this room and I’m not sure what. The wallpaper was the pink striped one...but the lighting makes it look orangey sometimes during the day...and that is not what I want. I tried adding cute lamp once but that didn’t make much of a difference.

Hope your able to get the lighting you want. It is pretty difficult. It either becomes too cool or too warm.

A wall mounted music player that I could hide would be nice too

I have to admit, I'm kind of disappointed with my lighting options too. With the wallpapers I like, none seem to let in enough light and the house always seems too dark in places! I would love to see overhead lights become an option or something!

Same! I like for my rooms to have a matching color scheme , but I noticed some rooms have different lighting than others, which throws the color scheme off a bit. I noticed it especially with the attic and the backroom.

Definitely . I haven’t even started adding the music Players yet . I can just imagine how painful that’s going to be.

It took me months of playing to realize that your house will light up from outside only if you have the first/main room lit from the overhead lights. I had been using lamps instead and didn’t realize, but it looks way cooler to have all the lights on outside so I just use the lowest light setting inside that room.

This is a way I use, especially at Harv's island. You can put iron wall lamps on the wall, really close to the ceiling. You can't see them up there, and they give a nice warm light. I don't know if I'm explaining it well, but it's a good trick!

That's how I've been lighting my rooms Though I wish they'd make the lamps stronger because even with my room surrounded by like 10 lamps, I still feel like it's too dark at times. It really depends on the mood you're trying to make. They really need to release a ceiling item or something that you can adjust the colour and brightness on.
