Pokémon Do you give nicknames to your Pokemon?

Sometimes, I'll always nickname my starter but I'll only nickname a Pokemon otherwise if they are one of my favourites or if I can think of a good one when I catch it. Though when I was breeding starters to giveaway through WT I gave them all the same nickname for each species so that if someone posted about it on Tumblr or a Pokemon forum I can go "yay, that was from me!"

I give my starters nicknames, and sometimes team members. Like my Swoobat named Cupid.

Yes. That way, If I have multiples of that Pokemon, I can identify it by name, also, naming pokemon is cool, all my friends and acquaintances do it, too, so we have fun naming them

I nickname each and every Pokemon that I use on my teams. My favourites are Trickilicky the Lickitung and Blade my Gallade. With some of them, I do try to think up impressive names, but with others I pick the first thing that comes to mind (like Sally the Walrein, Pillow the Altaria, and Captain Hugs the Snorlax).

Malika was MVP and a prime example of why despite a Fighting/Psychic/Dark/Ghost E4 being a cool idea in theory, it's utterly terrible in execution.

Champion fight was a bit of a challenge though, due to really having nothing to easily cripple dragons. So I guess there's that.

I rarely nickname my Pokemon. I like having their original names. Every now and then I'd think of something cute, or I'd name a Pokemon after someone who traded them to me.

I always try to give my Pokemon nicknames. I used to enjoy doing so, but now that there are so many Pokemon, it is getting hard for me to come up with so many names. :/

I always nickname party members/competitive teams, but if I'm catching a Pokemon just for a dex entry, I usually don't name it. Exceptions are when I have something really clever.
