i voted online because im more comfortable talking to people online, but not sure which one im better at making friends at. online i guess since i feel more comfortable that way.
im not super social and have a hard time keeping in contact with the friends i have to be honest. it takes a lot of energy to keep relationships and i just havent had that energy for a while now. i hope my friends know that i still care about them though despite not constantly talking to them. if not then i guess thats on me for not putting in more effort
In my case, I don't really have much of a problem with either. I've made a fair share of friends both in real life and on the internet without even trying (however, these days I mostly just prefer to be by myself, ha ha. I guess it's just in my nature to be "the lone wolf").
If I had to choose between the two, I'd say it's probably easier making friends online, but I've always preferred friendships where I can physically see and get to accurately know/evaluate a person.
It's a bit of both but sometimes it's hard making friends with some people irl because it is their problem. They're just picky who they want to talk to or they have social problems. So my answer would probably be online even though I rather to talk to my irl friends more than online.
i used to be better at making online friends, but now i am SO SO BAD at both, and it's not fun. have lost touch with some old online friends, which can't be helped when you suddenly get busy too
Online I guess. Like I feel like it is pretty much the same. Interaction basically leading to acquaintances.
However, online it is easier to find common interests and giggles. With social media your posts are kind of just things that are presented -your interests, thoughts, or what you find humorous. To do so in real life isn't considered socially acceptable. And most people don't have interest in spending the time to encounter your interests or whatever. And frankly, I don't have the energy to deal with it.
I do think acquaintances instead of friends are more of a adult 25+ thing tbh.
i originally voted online but now i’d say irl!! im much more comfortable when talking to someone in person. Where online i tend to overthink what to respond or what someone might think of me
