so im going to be honest. cheese, for the most part, is disgusting to me and it upsets my stomach loooll, and there are very few cheeses i actually *like* to eat -
brie cheese is really good (my mom makes a really good pasta dish with it and it is a comfort food for me)
pepper jack is good because i like spicy things
and the holy grail of cheese for me is the fake american processed cheese. im not even kidding. i know people really turn their nose up at american cheese, but i seriously love it. i understand the criticism that its not "real cheese" and is therefore disgusting, but look, i think people need to re-evaluate american cheese for its versatility. you can melt it into virtually *anything* for a nice, creamy texture, and a sorta-tangy cheesy flavor! i put it in my instant ramen all the time and anyways it just melts so nice and i think people underappreciate it just because its not "real" cheese but if they took it for what it actually is then i think people would like it a lot more.
Classic cheddar for me but it has to be mild, I find mature or even extra mature too much on my tastebuds, I also love smoked cheese and don't get me started on Camembert cheese either.
I love Camembert and Mozzarella. However, I can NOT eat cheese when it's after 18h, or I will feel really sick from it.
I also don't like to eat cheese just by itself or I will feel sick aswell and get bellypain, except if it's Mozzarella.
I absolutely love mozzarella. Put some of that on a baguette, with some ham... delicious. I also really like cheddar, I always have some in the fridge.
I admit that I like those processed American cheese slices too. They're so good melted, especially for cheese on toast, or in a burger. When I was a kid I would just eat slice after slice with nothing else XD (I did the same with Dairylea triangles).
My family love to get loads of really smelly cheese at Christmas - blue cheese is the worst for that, urgh - but I just can't get over the smell to try any... :/ Cheddar on crackers is good enough for me.
