I have so much social anxiety I'd probably die if I was ever in a party. :)

That sucks. Do you ever have hang out with your friends?

A lot of people have social anxiety. It's troubling.

If I have to go I'll just cling to my friend like a koala

Same. I wouldn't ever be by myself.

You mean the weird ones? No. You mean the casual and normal ones? Yes.

Not usually, but I do enjoy my family Christmas party we have every year. 7 siblings, their spouses, and all their kids. Lots of good food. I always look forward to it.

I wish my family had more of a cheerful environment and celebrated Christmas more.

I bet that party is really welcoming and heart-filled.

If there are more than 3 people in a room I don't want to be involved.

Only if birthday parties lol but seriously, yeah sure, if I know at least half of the people there.

No, I am not a fan of parties, and I really haven't been since I was a kid. The only parties I liked as a kid were like block parties because I literally knew everyone there already, it wasn't stressful being surrounded by strangers. I've been dragged to parties by my social friends and I literally cling to them so hard the entire time because I am no social at all, I'm a true introvert and literally as my friend would be going around talking to all these people I knew I'd be like hiding behind them... Parties would sap me dry of any energy almost immediately usually before I even would enter the building because my body just KNEW. I mean my idea of a party is staying up late with a few close friends, maybe getting a bit tipsy and playing Cards Against Humanity, or using a ouija board. Pretty much an 8th grade slumber party... like that's all I can handle, and even then I'm like, please leave early tomorrow so I don't die. Parties have never been my thing the only positive attribute of any party is the food.

Deep down I love parties (not rowdy ones, but like game nights with drinks and no sex in bedrooms), but my social anxiety prevents me from really participating. If there is even one person that is a stranger, I will usually steer clear. It sucks. Even with close friends, I still get anxious and will make excuses to stay home, no matter how badly I want to go. It's awful, because the times I've forced myself to go (very rarely), and put myself out there, it was really fun. I felt free, like maybe people aren't so scary. And I tell myself, I'm going to do this more often. But the next time, I can't get the same courage again.. Even with my great memory of how amazing and not as bad as I thought it was going to be the last time was.

I like parties. It's nice to socialise with others every once in a while but it depends.

Nah, not really. I'm far too introverted or socially awkward at big parties. I really really have to be in the right mood to socialise smoothly with people, which is a rare occasion lol. I'm definitely not into parties with drinking involved as I'm not a drinker, and never really have been due to my friend's dislikes towards drinking.

If it's just a party between my close friends, I can handle that but nothing more tbh.

No. I don't like parties of any kind. I don't even really like small get togethers. I dread these things and I would rather be home alone
