Do you like the New Horizons theme?

I don?t know, to me it?s not as upbeat, so it kind of sounds happy and sad at the same time to me. Somber like. The new horizons just sounds happy.

I 100% agree. I prefer the happy and somber over just happy. To me the happy and somber reflects all the good times you will have and the new beggingings vs just fun times. The somber with happy is more emotional and expresive in my opinion.

It's not a bad song at all, but the brass instrument just doesn't appeal to me. It feels a bit grating, especially if I were to listen to it on loop.

My thoughts exactly. Just hoping there are some more chill tracks featuring different instruments down the line. Not too big a fan of brass personally.

You all are so descriptive and articulate when it comes to sound, maybe you could band together to create or remix the song. I'd listen.

Yes! The other games' themes lacked brass in their themes, and hearing the trumpet being such a prevalent part of this game's main theme has made me super excited for the other themes! If they're using new instruments for the main theme, they may end up using some new ones for the other themes as well, which is really exciting to think about.

I like it. I’m personally not a very big fan of New Leaf’s music, so this sounds better to me.

I think I like it, I'm just hoping that bugle sounding instrument isn't really a recurring instrument in the hourly sounds as much as the tropical guitar / bongo drums. I'm kinda missing the piano sounds but I don't doubt the music will be as amazing as always. Tropical island is by far the most appealing animal crossing theme of the series to me
