do you like the way flowers work now?

I do like that they can't die or get trampled. But the fact that they're harder to get, and hybrids feel harder to grow... that's annoying.

I personally love it. What I don't like is the native flowers; but it adds a bit of a challenge to the game, so I don't really mind all that much, even if it is somewhat of a nuisance. I also wish grown flowers would stack, as it makes rearranging them a bit of a hassle, but this is a minor nitpick that I have and for the most part I adore the new mechanics!

I like that they grow back instead of just disappearing, but still have to get used to actually having to dig them up if I want to move them x3 They take a long time to grow, though...

And the "native flower" thing and only 3 different flowers in shop (so far?) is kind of a pain, I want all the different kinds...

overall, yes!

it's so convenient being able to just dig them up and replant them, however i wish they might stack or be able to be stored because it can take a while to transplant flowers from one area to another.. i just have to plant them on the beach while i set up the area i'm planning on planting them in, i also dislike it when i accidentally pluck the flower which ruins their appearance for the rest of the day, and i end up putting it in my storage and not touching it again once i've plucked it (so far)

it's also so nice that they aren't destroyed when ran over! i absolutely prefer the way flowers work in new horizons compared to past animal crossing games :D

Yeah, I like how I don't have to worry about accidentally killing my flowers!

I think the idea of having a native flower that grows on your island is nice, but I really don't like how they took it way too far and made it so that you can only get certain ones from the shop/mystery islands; it would have been a lot better if we had an equal chance at getting all of the flowers in the shop or at least on the mystery islands.

I do, but I'm still getting used to it. I'm still used to flowers being destroyed by digging them up.

love everything but
it's weird trough don't see other villagers planting flowers anymore
in NL never cared for flower but sometimes hybrids growed spontaneusly because one of the villagers
I wish we could assign flowerbeds areas so they can plant them again
perhaps I'm just lazy ^_^''

Not sure how trades work, but I will be happy to trade some of my roses (my native flower). I am hoping to find pansies (or even pears and cherries) but haven't had any luck.

No, because I need a shovel to dig them up, which causes a shovel to break, and then I have flowers hogging my inventory too.

I'm about lukewarm to it. While it takes longer to move flowers around with a shovel instead of being able to just pick them up, I do appreciate that they can grow back if I ever destroy one or pick the buds off.

Really? For me, hybrids have been much easier to grow. I was never able to get pink roses on my own in NL, but now I have 3 I grew myself!

Well... I like how they can't die anymore so I can run everywhere without worrying about trampling my flowers, but I find having to dig them up and then cover the holes every time I wanna move one to be super tedious--especially since tools break now and having to stop what I'm doing to craft new ones kills relaxation--and I absolutely hate how they don't stack and can't be stored. :/ It's actually pretty annoying tbh.

vehemently against the native flowers and limit to 4 flowers in shop.

Love they dont die as easy, love they dont wilt, cute you can pick them.

not a huge fan of having to dig em up though. It does feel a little extra. I wish they would stack.

If you still need roses, I have them as my native flower. I'm still confused about how exactly the new mechanics work, but I think I can help you with the roses.

Just a heads-up if you don't know it yet: you only need to use the shovel to dig 'em up. You don't need to use your tools to plant them (unless your planting seeds or stems). It's useful for when you have grown flowers and you need to relocate them.

I personally think it’s tedious having to dig them up. I miss being able to just pick them up, but I do like how they do grow back though and are tougher. With the whole native flower thing, I think it’s cool, but annoying trying to get all the flowers I want.

On the one hand, I 100% agree it's tedious having to dig them up and I keep accidentally plucking instead of uprooting.

On the other hand, I also love not being able to accidentally destroy flowers with a sloppily aimed shovel.

On the one hand I like that they don't wilt and that they can't be trampled any more! On the other hand it's annoying when I'm trying to do some extensive gardening and my shovel keeps breaking.

Yes and no. It's tedious to have to dig them up to move them and sometimes, when I'm trying to bury the hole I end up picking the flowers (I don't like to use the shovel to cover the hole back, not sure if it wears the shovel down but I hate having to recraft!)

But I do like that they come back when you run on them

I like it! Them being able to just regrow is very fun, especially since you can constantly pluck hybrids without losing your progress. I hate the whole native flower thing though, because all I want is roses and they're nowhere to be found.
