do you like the way flowers work now?

I’m not a fan of the native flowers idea. Or the fact I can only buy certain flowers on my island. Moving them with a shovel is a bit tedious and I really wish they stacked.

However, I love the rest of it! I love that I don’t have to water every single one every day so they don’t wilt. My pet peeve from NL was when a villager would run through my hybrids and they were destroyed.

I think that overall it’s definitely an improvement from NL!

I hate the native flower thing and that you have to dig them up and also doesn't stack. It takes ages to remove flowers in the way.

I do love that you don't have the stress of them dying, if you accidentally run through them though!

Native flowers don't really bother me because I really only care about mums and that is my native flower. I think my opinion might be different is I ended up with a different native flower, though. The rest of the flower mechanics are fine too... although I am unsure why I've only grown 1 hybrid so far when I have both mum and pansy hybrid fields set up that should do well.

Not a fan of the mechanics of picking flowers, the amount of times I’ve ended up picking one because I’m trying to fill a hole is ludicrous. Also would of preferred the island tours had a decent chance to give you flowers you don’t normally have access to.

i love that they regrow and that you can dig them up, i hate that they won't stack & i keep accidentally plucking them when i try to fill a hole with Y! it'll take some getting used to for sure, but it's worth it

Yes and no. I love how durable they are and how you don't have to water them anymore! But I hate I can't store them so when I eventually revamp my entire island, Idk I'll put them, I guess on the beach? I don't know...

Yeah, I really like them... but they aren't without negatives. Namely the fact they are a pain in the arse to relocate and also the fact you cannot store the flowers, just their buds.

But everything else, I really do enjoy.

I must say, I hate the new way of how you pick them up, being forced to use all the time the shovel sucks, it takes way too long. Besides, I can't count how many times I accidentally plucked them...

I still do not like/am used to the new flower system. (Didn’t it take only one day after planting a new flower for it to grow fully in NL?) I feel like it takes too long for flowers to fully grow and look beautiful in New Horizons... also because I was used to being able to pick up flowers and move them without having to dig them up first! I always grab the petals off the flowers and then they look ugly until the next day... minor complaint butttttt...

It takes 2 days....

I honestly kinda hate that you have to shovel them up now, it was much easier to just pick them up and move them. Now you have to dig them with a shovel and fill in the hole. It's very tedious especially when moving lots of flowers (I have a TON from island visits and I'm dreading moving them all lol..)

I also accidentally pick them a lot when trying to pick up other stuff and I don't like that either. Oh well ;_;
Only change I like with the flowers is that they can't be destroyed anymore. I do like that there's native flowers now, but that might just be because I got roses.

I like the stems regrowing. I don't like having to dig them up and being unable to store them. I really liked putting all my hybrids in storage until I figured out where I want them.

I don't like that the flowers can't go into storage anymore, so you have to hoard whatever you need in places on your island that can take up space and require constant shoveling around.

Yes I like that I don’t keep accidentally killing them all now. Actually, it’s not just the flower mechanics I like in this game but the whole gardening mechanics. I love how you can buy however many trees and flower seed you need anytime and landscape whenever you want. I remember one of the things I hated in NL was trying to hoard the trees one at a time since they only sell one per day. It takes a crazy long time to landscape a single area. Lol.

At first I was extremely frustrated with how often I was accidentally picking the buds off while trying to move them around, but it is SO relieving to know that they aren't going to die forever if I hit a corner too fast sprinting around my island.

I also wish that they stacked in your pocket... The 'native flower' thing isn't my fav either, like many others, I'm on the hunt for roses and they are IMPOSSIBLE for me to find.

Overall I really enjoy the flower mechanics though?
