those are, and i say this sincerely, some of the most perfect macarons i've like, ever seen. like, professional bakery sold-for-profit level perfect. you did a fantastic job with them!! and i'm glad to find someone else here who likes macarons. what flavour are they? what's the filling?

I enjoy baking! I can make cookies and pumpkin pie. I have yet to make others like brownies and macarons.

I am okay with cooking! I can only cook pasta, eggs, and potatoes so far. I will do better and cook more foods though.

I like cooking more than baking. Baking imo, takes time. While I love bread, desserts and everything within baking; I'm just too impatient and I get really tired fast. Cooking can also take awhile but with pressure cookers, rice cookers and even slow cookers; there's so many optimal ways to get your meal done efficiently (I guess)

Anyways, I like making a lot of stir-fry type of dishes with rice. I also like cooking fish (mostly salmon).

ooh thank you for answering........ yum, sounds like a really good filling combo! man, looking at the picture you posted again really wants me to make macarons it’s been a while since I’ve made them... I miss them

macarons can be pretty finicky, so good luck when you decide to try making them when you get there! make sure you’ve got all the windows in your house closed when you try them out. i left a window open all the way across my house once and it still managed to ruin my meringue. I’ve actually never made brownies without box mix so i can’t provide tips for those, but good luck with those as well if you plan to make them homemade!!!

oh also good luck with cooking too and trying and making more things!!! it’s fun to branch out

I prefer baking over cooking, but I haven't done much of that lately since my least favorite thing to do is to wash dishes (I'd rather do laundry all day and mow the lawn over washing dishes). Although, I do make an exception for the holidays since I love making pies and baking gingerbread cookies.

I did have this big oops once and I made rocks instead of brownies because I lost track of time I think cooking has baking beat in that aspect, I feel like it's easier to recover from a cooking accident than a baking one T.T

I prefer baking. I used to do it a lot more, but nowadays I've lost the motivation.
If I need to make a cake for special occasions I will do my best though!
I do prefer making cakes that are good to decorate!

Cooking is more the thing of my fiance, luckily. I hate cooking. I'm happy my Dad gave me a recipe for fried rice.
That's my go to recipe now, if I don't know what to do.

I really enjoy cooking and baking. It's funny to look back at what I made in college and remember how bad it was compared to what I make now. I've learned a lot and gotten a lot less picky. I've always enjoyed baking though.
I make a lot of soup- Lentil, tortilla, baked potato- and pasta- pomodoro, cacio e pepe, lemon orecchiette. My partner loves making pizza at home and he got into bread over quarantine. In the winter we love a roast. We make tons of nachos, burritos, and tacos too.
When I bake I make a lot of crumbles, cheesecakes, and the best chocolate chip cookies. I delivered Christmas cookies to my friends when we couldn't spend time with them last year.
I'm going to be so sad when I have to go back into the office and can't spend more time cooking. It helps my anxiety I think. Plus it's just fun.

I honestly don’t bake or cook, but I love looking at everyone’s wonderful creations on this thread! I do cook a meal occasionally, but that entails putting it in a microwave. I’m not actually mixing any ingredients or doing anything myself.
