Do you like your parents' cooking?

I love my parents but they couldn't cook to save their lives. they usually make me cook my own food anyway.

I love everything my mom cooks except for her fried chicken. It's just...no.

my dad cooks all the time and his cooking tastes awful so i usually don't eat it

my mom rarely cooks, but when she does, she usually makes good chili or spaghetti using my grandma's recipe

my grandma was really good at cooking and i helped her out a lot in the kitchen when i was little

i was in culinary arts for 2 years so i usually cook for myself and it's decent

No ~_~

My mom can only cook like one dish and I'm at the point where I am so tired of it because it's all she really makes besides eggs and hotdogs and spam (but I'm tired of those too because that's all I ever eat with her omg). So we just end up buying food outside or going to my Aunt's sometimes because sHE makes good food (but since she lives kinda far, we rarely go there)

meat is so important from where my parents come from so obviously they put it in most of their recipes. since i'm a vegetarian it conflicts so i cook for myself c:

no my dad always makes theses fancy ass meals which i dont like and my mum just microwaves stuff LOL

i refuse to believe that is your real map

I'm a grown adult now but when I was young I hated home cooked food because now that I'm older I realize that my mother cooked... terribly. (Sorry, mom.) She boiled and under seasoned everything and now that I'm older I really appreciate seasonings and herbs. My husband cooks amazingly.

Dammnn, shout out to all the dads that cook like doo-doo. My father can't cook for **** either. 😂 He'd fry eggs with their shell on if it weren't for his clumsy self dropping them and realizing them cracking open is supposed to happen. 😜🍳 I shall not be continuing that trait in my lineage, thank you very much. They better appreciate Famicom game night with homemade sushi... 😋💭🍱🍣🕹️🎮

It depends. I'm really picky and not everything they make is something I actually eat. But the things I will eat aren't that bad. I just wish they'd throw things out when they're supposed to... Had the worst muffins once because the mix was expired.

My dad makes really good chocolate chip cookies but was super rare for him to make them. And it's like the only thing he has ever made. But he makes them well. And it made my mom mad so he stopped.
My mom is hit or miss on her stuff she makes. A lot of our dinners when I was growing up were bland but not terrible to eat. And this is coming from someone who is accused of eating bland when I think what I eat has more flavor than what mom fed us a lot of the time.

But I rather just make food myself or go buy it at the store/restaurant. Just me.

my dad is an AMAZING cook. he makes some incredible food when he's not limited by a diet or someone else 😵‍💫

my mom is not a great cook but i wouldn't say she's HORRIBLE. she just doesn't cook a lot of her own food, like she'll cook stuff from a box/bag/whatever instead of making her own or using recipes. however she does have a great seasoning mixture for fried chicken.

My mom enjoys cooking, but ironically I became a lover of frozen food products. I was taking care of myself a lot as a kid (sometimes for days on end) so she would just stock the house up on those.

At one point I requested she teach me how to cook, but I became lazy and went back to frozen meals.
