Do you like your real name? My real name is actually very common and I use it on Snapchat. I’ve added people before that I met on forums, but the people I’ve added refer to me by my username outside of the app. I think it’s out of respect that they know I haven’t been open about my name outside of the app. I’m on another forum, but don’t use my real name.

Do you go by an alias or something else on the forum? If so, is it because you dislike your real name or are you just a secretive person online?

yes I do quite love my name of the first

I chose my name so i like it a lot but thats probably cheating lmao. I dont have any hatred towards my birth name. I do get annoyed that i still have to display it on various games sometimes since its not my identity anymore but i think the name itself was nice which is why i kept it for a while.

i do not, personally, like my full name, no! it’s not a bad name by any means, but i don’t think it suits me and it’s too long for my tastes, i’ve been going by nicknames (and currently an alias, which i picked because i like the sound of it) for as long as i can remember.

I don't want to talk about it, because I was made fun of for having a name that really started to make me feel uncomfortable.

I don’t like my name at all. On this site I am Livia because that is my resident reps name. On other sites I use the name Lia which is like a nickname I chose for myself and it’s close to my real name.

As common as my first name is I don’t mind it. It suits me fairly well and it complements my two middle names! My only gripe is when I’m called “Ben.” The nickname just feels overused to me. Thankfully most people are fine calling me Benji!

I don't like my name. My first name is too common and my real last name is annoying at Christmas time. My middle name is kind of a grandma name. Kinda wish I had taken my husband's real last name but I was too stressed at the thought of having to deal with updating all my identification papers and cards and stuff. Meh.

I'm indifferent to it. It's gender-neutral already so that's a plus, I guess. I just do not like the nickname "Riri" in all honesty.

I do like my real name. My parents gave me a thoughtful name. I've had a few people, over the years, comment on it being such.

That said, I like to draw a line between what's real and what's not. My real name is for real life matters. I use online names for online purposes. Does that make me secretive? I don't think so. If I was secretive, I wouldn't be online at all. But, like most people online, I do value my privacy and space.

I just have a very common name, and for the reason I have never really liked it. Online I don't use my real name (unless it's FB or whatever). Any social media like a forum or twitter, etc...no, I never use my real name for that stuff.

Nope, as the years went by I have realized I don't like being called that at all.
I wish my name was something else like... Ribbon?

I like my name, I don't know that I would go so far as to say I love it but I definitely don't feel any desire to change it.
