I voted yes. Im actually enjoying this type of forume right now, Its been about a year or 2 since I've been apart of a forume like this, and I now remember why I liked it so much. Im gonna go to the other forum to post threads that are more fit for it, but for general chat, that site looks like its gonna be like NSiders old spam baords.UltraByte said:Now if only there was a way to see who voted for what.

One of the greatest and most under-appreciated TV shows out there!InfinityDragon said:I also voted yes. I'm going to hang around here. I hope you don't mind.

Well, since every vote has been yes... LOL, this reminded me of an episode of Newsradio, where the staff was voting to decide who (Dave or Lisa) was going to be the news director, and all the votes were for Lisa. Nevertheless, Bill said that he voted for Dave, and he demanded a recount! (yeah, I know, completely random, but maybe someone has watched Newsradio before).
That series was really, really good, although I think the quality went down after Phil Hartman died. Jon Lovitz didn't make up for the lack of Bill in the final season.PAPASMALLS said:One of the greatest and most under-appreciated TV shows out there!InfinityDragon said:I also voted yes. Yeah I agree. Hartman was great on that show (as well as others!). Great show.InfinityDragon said:That series was really, really good, although I think the quality went down after Phil Hartman died. yasuharu said:Newsradio? Did that show have Joe Rogan in it?
yasuharu said:Anyway, back to the topic. I also voted yes, because I really don't like the idea of official forums right now... That's the second time those forums have been taken down now, and I have no reason to believe that it wouldn't happen again.
yasuharu said:Even if they made new forums, they said they had no plans to retain our ranks and post counts, so we would all have to start at square one again. I was just a few posts away from editing abilities...
Was it closed like this time? Without any reason or warning?PAPASMALLS said:Hey Infinity....I think they closed the forums down the first time in 2000 and reopened them back in 2003 or somewhere along the lines...so if it's cyclical in nature...we should see them back up in 2010 XD...seriously though...nothing in life is permanent I suppose

That I couldn't tell you...sorry. I joined the NSider forum Nov 21st of last year (or somewhere around that time frame) so I don't really know what happened 7 years ago...though it's my understanding that they did give a warning the first time.InfinityDragon said:Was it closed like this time? Well, if they had the same rules as this time, maybe chaos broke loose when they announced that the forums were closing, and everybody tried to share their emails, and other personal info.PAPASMALLS said:That I couldn't tell you...sorry.
