Do you sleep with a eye mask on?
I don’t have blackout curtains so I’m gonna try sleeping with an eye mask on

no, i don't :3 i sleep just fine :3
No, I’ve never tried an eye mask but since getting blackout curtains my sleep has vastly improved.
Yes, I use a eye mask; I noticed that it helps me sleep faster
.
I did when I lived somewhere without blinds or shutters. It was the only way I could fall asleep. Now I can just close the shutters and it’s pitch black even in the daytime. I like afternoon naps
Nope. My room is dark enough for me to sleep fine (or at least without light bothering me) and my mom recently bought curtains that make it darker.
No, but I do sleep with a small pillow over my face. Kind of like a mask I guess.
Nope, being in absolutle darkness is unnerving for me
Yep. I started using them one year when the sun started getting super bright before the leaves grew onto the trees (I actually tied a scarf around my head a few nights before I got one, lol). The blinds in my room are cruddy, so I would wake up to super bright light. I actually ended up REALLY liking them- I never need to worry about things getting too bright, and I also find the feeling of them on my face to be oddly soothing (the pressure is enough to feel, but not enough to hurt... it makes me feel secure in a way). I also like wearing them because, now, as soon as I put them on I feel an extra wave of sleepiness because my body's like "yep, definitely bed time". Last night I actually ended up wearing two because my fan was tickling my bangs (which I hate) but I was too lazy to keep getting up and adjusting it, so I just tossed a second one on to cover my bangs, lol. Worked great!
Little tip if you do start wearing them, though- wash them from time to time. And maybe get a few to cycle through. I didn't think to wash mine for quite awhile and was getting more acne then usual. I realized I needed to wash them when I realized the acne was wear my mask hits, lol. Mine are easy to wash, though. Just throw 'em in the sink with a little bit of laundry soap, let 'em soak for a few minutes, then rinse and let air dry.
Yes. A friend who uses one to get restful sleep recommended I try it out so I did (got a cheap one from a discount shop for less than $10 lol). Since then, I have multiple eye masks when I need to clean the used ones. They make me sleep a lot better /shrugs and despite having blackout window coverings where I live now, I still use an eye mask to sleep.
i used to, but then the elastic on it got stretched to the point where it no longer stayed on my face and i just never bothered to buy another one after that lmao. i found it was pretty useful for getting to sleep faster and more importantly, staying asleep - my blinds usually let quite a lot of light through, which is okay sometimes if i want to wake up but more irritating if i'm trying to sleep in

i’ve tried using masks, but the feeling of something against my eyes makes it harder to sleep than any light filtering through my blinds does
so i don’t sleep with one.
I don’t sleep with one. I’m not sure if it would help. I find it hard to sleep with noise, not light. I can’t sleep with the fan on.

I've never tried one but light doesn't usually keep me awake. Plus, I like being able to quickly check the clock if I wake up in the middle of the night to make sure I still have plenty of time before my alarm goes off.
No I don’t currently sleep with an eye mask on but I think I ought to give it a shot. It takes so long for me to fall asleep at night. I use to have black out curtains in my room, but that didn’t help me with falling asleep faster. Instead it would always make me sleep in way longer than I should have so I removed them from my bedroom.
No I don't. There's no way I can fall asleep with something on my face
You're watching Disney Channel
I used to sometimes use one but it bugged me too much so I stopped using them.
Being blinded by light in the morning is the only way I can get up. It's part of my wake up routine
I've tried eye masks in the past and they always ended up off my face when I woke up.
i don’t. i tried wearing one when i was younger but since lights don’t disturb my quality of sleep, i didn’t stick with it as i had no reason to lol. besides, knowing me i’d probably go to sleep with it on, forget about it and then lose my **** in the morning because i think i’ve gone blind.
Yes, my room is facing East so it's bright early in the morning even with curtains.
